A busy week at sports camps for week number 2!

We played tennis, cricket, dodgeball, table tennis, rounders, watched the Olympics, had ice lollies!
A great week and so much fun had!!

Lianne was interviewed yesterday by BBC Scotland and then Wales later in the day. Lianne played with Andy Murray as a junior and travelled abroad with him on numerous trips. They wanted to know what Andy was like as a junior and was he the greatest British sportsman!

Well done to Liberty for coming 2nd in a tournament this week in a 10 and u grade 4!

That's it for our 1st week at sports camps, thanks to all the coaches for their hard work.
Lianne was away captaining the Warwickshire ladies on London, while Liberty was playing a National tournament in Nottingham. Both had a great time and learnt a lot from all the matches!

Good luck to Alfie in the Men's wheel chair tennis this morning, unbelievable talent. Wimbledon is the only grand slam singles he hasnt got.

Then its the men's singles finals at 2pm, Alcaraz or Djokovic?!

The ladies final was fantastic yesterday, well done to Barbora! Some of the children met Barbora at Edgbaston 2 weeks ago and were lucky enough to get a photo with the now Wimbledon winner!

Andy and Jamie start their campaign today in the mens doubles at Wimbledon.
They are very similar to our very own Joe and Campbell (although not brothers), who took on Alcester last weekend, winning all 3 rubbers 🥇🥇🥇. I'm sure Andy and Jamie will be looking to follow in their footsteps 🎾🎾🎾🎾

We were lucky with the weather again this year for our junior championships. Well done to all plauers that competed, there were some fantastic rallies and matches.
Thanks to Dan and Jenny for helping umpire today.

We had dads/mums/grandparents join in on sunday for fathers day.
The children had a great time and so did the adults, im sure some were still recovering a few days later!

Our last day today for the 12 and u team, some great tennis played and they came 4th overall!

All players have enjoyed their time at Edgbaston playing and watching the tennis, thanks to for organising and hosting

It was the turn of the 10 and under team today. Well done to Bella and Harry representing Warwick and Oli and Annabella from Henley.
Another great result for the team coming 5th out of 8.
Last day on thursday for the 12 and u team!

A great day at Edgbaston today for Harrison, Liberty and Grace. Warwick teamed up with Henley for the 9 and u event today and they did so well coming 5th out of 8.
They also managed to get lots of autographs 😍

Well done to the orange team for getting a win over kenilworth today. Some great tennis played and close matches. Well done Harrison, Tia, Rose and Tristan (1st team match).

French open tournament yesterday for 20 of our juniors. Sinner and Alcaraz were playing during our tournament so we choose these 2 for our team names. Both teams had a great time, thanks for jacob for running it!

Well dome to christopher and liberty over the half term with some great results.
Christopher came 2nd in his first tournament and then topped it by winning his second tournament in Telford.
Liberty came runner up in both her tournaments over the half term, great result on both!

Lianne and Ian were away with the 10 and u warwickshire girls, the girls played so well and managed to come 2nd!
In our 11 and u boys away at Henley, the boys had sone great points and narrowly lost 2-1.
The 12 and u boys took on Kenilworth and just missed out esp in the champ tie break for the doubles.
Last bur not least the 9 and u took on Beechwood at home and won 7-3.
Well done to Joe, Campbell, Sam, Freddie, Liberty, Chris, Grace and Rose!

What a weekend, and the weather definitely helped 😍😍. Thanks to all their parents for their help.

This weekend we had the 16 and u girls who took on Leamington, lucy's 1st team mstch for us winning her singles and the doubles!
Jay and Bobby just lost out to Wbc yesterday in the 16 and u's.
Liberty had a great tournament yesterday winning a green tournament a year young.
Today Grace represented Warwickshire in the 8 and u county cup, they did amazingly and came 3rd!
James statted his level 2 today at warwick uni and we are wishing him lots of luck, im sure he will smash it!

Harrison won another tournament at the weekend at west warks in solihull!
Liberty represented Warwickshire for the 9 and u county girls in the finals, coming 3rd which is a fantastic result!

Our player of the week is Beatrice for fantastic rallying skills and smashing our champions game!

A busy couple of weeks with our Easter Camps, thanks to all of our coaches Chris, Josh, lorna, Amy, Ian, James and Holly that smashed it!

It wasnt just busy for us Harrison and Liberty had a great couple of weeks with Harrison winning a tournament in Rugby and liberty einning one tournament wnd coming runner up in another one!
