Interesting visit to Standen, National Trust for inspiration. Found some great nature themed sculptures in the grounds. A real bonus. Check out .catchlow.sculptures

Getting some painting in from our base at this week! Amazing to stay on the farm surrounded by alpacas; some just a few days old. Not the easiest subjects to sketch!

Excited to be part of Leamington Studio Artists exhibition as part of Warwickshire Open Studios! Lots of amazing art on display until 29th June!

Exploring Berry Head near Brixham taking the chance to paint en plein air. Amazing cliffs and sea views. This was before the local water crisis was announced!

Long walk around Dartmouth today on the The South West Coast Path and chance to get watercolours and ink out near Little Dartmouth for a speedy painting. Amazing views along the coast and across the entrance to the River Dart.

Out sketching today in Brixham. So lucky to get some late afternoon sunshine. Stunning harbour views!

Been working out how to frame some of my watercolours and decided to recycle old frames so they are for display at Warwickshire Open Studios

Now on the look out for frames to repurpose! Let me know if you find any or have any I could use!

So this is my challenge for 2024 - to get myself set up for Warwick Open Studios this Summer! This is a new account to share my journey towards getting my first set of paintings ready to show in June!

I have been lucky enough to visit the amazing Isles of Scilly and it's the most amazing place to learn to sketch. Not a person in sight and plenty of places to set up to paint with the most amazing views!

This was one of my first times exploring with a pallet knife, not my usual type of subject, but enjoyed the experimental nature of playing withe the paint!
