👉Meet my 5-year-old reading enthusiast. Don’t get me wrong - he’ll read or flip through books when he feels like it. Listening to him read isn’t always seamless.

🌈However, I’m forever grateful for dedicating time to read to him and introducing books at a very young age as I knew it'll benefit him later. Books were often on repeat and sometimes still are - but I have to keep it going.

✨His interest in books has expanded his vocabulary and sparked his ability to generate his own ideas when it comes to creative writing.

What is it all about?

Group classes are online, for 40 minutes. This will vary week on week depending on text size and lesson focus.

We will focus on the following:

Vocabulary
Inference
Prediction
Explanation
Retrieval
Sequence or Summarise
Definitions of new words
Antonyms and synonyms using words from the text
Echo reading
Independent reading
Understanding why punctuation marks are used.
Correction on pronunciation to new unfamiliar words
