Let's Chat Hub - West Bromwich
Offering support, and a safe space to help tackle isolation and loneliness within the local community
Some of you will be aware that the hub is having some changes due to the closure of Community Transport in West Midlands. The Lets Chat hub will now be overseen by Walsall Community Transport with me (louise) continuing with the day to day running of the hub. We have had some issues with recieving emails after changing over our contact details and i have struggled to access old emails and lost many contacts for local charitys, services and people who use the hub. If any partnerships need to get in touch or have a interest in using the hub please email on my new email address [email protected]

Just a reminder that The Lets Chat Hub is closing today for 2 weeks for a revamp. Anyone who needs help or support while we are closed can go to The Walsall Hub in Walsall bus station, who are open Monday to Friday 10am - 3pm.
The Lets Chat hub looks forward to welcoming you all back on Monday 29th July.
PLEASE READ.
Some of you have been asking for details of the future of the hub moving forward. The Lets Chat hub will be closing on Monday 15th July for 2 weeks, we will reopen on Monday 29th July. This closure is to give the hub a much needed makeover as well as linking up with the empty building next door which will in future open for group meetings, adult education groups etc. There is currently a lot going on in the back ground to improve the hub, its space and what services we offer.
We have also made the decision after a trial to close om saturdays but will continue to open Mondays to Fridays as normal
I would like to thank you all for your continued support and i hope you will enjoy the revamp!!!
We are open all next week as normal xx
Here at The Lets Chat hub we are like a little family. Today a chap mentioned that one of our elderly members Bill hadnt been in for a few days and that he wasnt answering his phone. At 90 years of age he has no carers or close family so i made the decision to call police to do a welfare check. They let us know that Bill was found on the floor after falling and may have been there for days. He is in the care of the hospital now but not in a good way. Im so grateful that our little community look out for each other.
Please if you have elderly isolated neighbours, check on them regularly, you may be the only person they see on a daily basis and you could be their life line.
Well done to our volunteer Debbie who was nominated for the Celebration of volunteering award to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the County of the West Midlands for making a difference to our local community
