Oasis Ministries
A gathering of people in the community sharing life through the expression of the early church
Another book to read....the sin of iniquity is not taught on in the church and this is the root to many issues of addiction and other repetitive sins that people are not able to be free from. My friend teaches on this as she has been set free from the evil that wraps itself around people's lives. She has an amazing testimony on how God set her free.
A book to read.....a friend of mine has released her autobiography you can find it on Amazon. An amazing testimony of the Father's love and redemption in a life of trauma from childhood to adulthood.
What a fabulous time of fellowship today with just myself and the mother of the house then Jacky turned up (despite not been well) and then our old friend Anne from RF days with her friend. Such sweet fellowship - many laughs and some tears as we remember our dear brother Dennis who we say 'goodbye for now' to this week. Then another group member turned up with the two little ones.
I had a good conversation with Ram a local businessman who uses the coffee shop and another believer from St Andrews which is our mother's home church. We wouldn't have had enough space in our corner if anyone else had turned up! Maybe we will need to think of a bigger space moving forward or just take over the cafe!
Hello everyone, I am excited to offer a free chapter from my e-course for Christian women. The chapter can be used either in a group setting such as a house/life group or women's ministry, or it can be used individually. The course is divided into two modules. The first module contains ten chapters, out of which one chapter is free. All the chapters are based on the wells mentioned in the Bible and how God uses them for specific reasons to bring life to us.The second module is about how the wells become blocked, preventing the life of God in our lives. The course includes homework and other content to help you learn and grow spiritually. If you are interested in learning more, please check out my Stan Store below, where you can find the first free chapter. I hope this course blesses you, and feedback would be lovely. Thank you!

Oasis Ministries A gathering of people in the community sharing life through the expression of the early church
A lovely time sharing of a past life from our oldest group member my mom Kathleen 89 this month. Hopes, dreams and a life lived in God. Her hearts desire to be a missionary even as a young girl and been laughed at at school when shared in her class and although she never went on a plane God brought many from the nations to her when she worked within the YMCA with her church ministry (see 2 old pics below). She mothered the young students and gave them a home to come to and fellowship. As we talked it was most apparent that although her dream of going to distant shores for Jesus did not take place God's purpose for her life did not change and came to pass.
She still has a deep desire for people to know Him and her love for Him has not waved. What an inspiration.
This is a pic my nephew took from Dudley Castle. Not only did the beautiful sky catch my eye (seer) but the hill in the distance is the territory I live by (Oakham). Dudley Castle was built upon a high place for obvious strategic reasons. There are also 'high places' in the spiritual realm which are strategic for both God (remember Moses) and demonic forces (prophets of Baal). I'm reading a book on the Apolostolic and only last night reading about 'high places'.
Note the cannon on the wall. We need our walls fortified against enemy attack. There are many whose walls have been besieged by enemy attack and who need to rebuild. They may need you and me to help build their wall (Nehemiah). We are part of His kingdom and at war with our enemy over territory and lives We are to use the weapons of the Spirit to overcome and gain ground lost. The battle may be fierce and some may be wounded or even lose their lives (Mozambique currently Christians been slaughtered). Let's stand and fight for each other and for those still living in great darkness announcing that 'the kingdom of heaven is at hand'
"We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness in 'high places'"
Testimony - So I get back home and my neighbour who I had asked to take a parcel popped over - then Holy Spirit continued from the overflow from this morning. . .
She told me her ex-husband is dying from cancer with 2 weeks to live! To cut a 20 min convo short I told her I believe in miracles (which she said she does too) and about the healing angel turning up this morning and asked if we could pray for him. His name is Toby. I told her we have weekly meetings here where we pray etc. She has invited me to her home. She lives alone with her little boy her family/friends all in Wolves. She also said she had put the past behind her in regards to the relationship and I told her it is imperative that Toby knows his eternal home and that Jesus is the only way to heaven and gave her the scripture. She took it all and said she will need to tell her little boy when he grows up.
My reading today is 'Hope for a future' and the Psalm that says "I give you a hope for a future - you will not be cut off"!!! Jacβ© and myself prayed this over Toby and the thumbs up appeared straight away on the screen!! (This was the sign from this morning when talking about the healing angel that appeared on the screen).
Will you all agree that Toby -
1. Will be healed and not die
2. Receive salvation
3. God will extend his life
4. Salima will get saved
5. Their families will get saved
6. Revival will hit my neighbours when they hear of what is taking place especially Vanessa who lives next door to Salima and speaks to us and Sonia another neighbour we know
Wow! We are ready for an invitation to go and pray but believe it has taken place. π₯π₯π₯
'If not now when?"
"If not me who?"
"If not here where?"
So our elderly mother met her new parish vicar today in the coffee shop - an answered prayer for her. Don't you just love the way Father cares about the things that bother us? She had mentioned on numerous occasions how he hadn't visited and I know this was upsetting her BUT God β€. We had a joke when he responded to 'been new' after 10 months there - I told him he is still new as mother has been going (loyal service until last few years) for around 80 years! Talk about longevity! A trait very lacking in today's society and even the church.
God is speaking on this atm I note through various ministries maybe required due to the lack of substance and grounding in many in these days.
Interesting - how long have you known Jesus and how long in your current fellowship? Are there new alignments in this season for you?
The picture confirming what we were discussing yesterday at our weekly fellowship at the YMCA.
More fellowship with our lovely Ukranian sisters at our weekly Coffee, Cake & Chat, learning a few more words - yes we can say 'hello' and 'goodbye' quite fluently now working on maybe another useful word next week....
Also a deep conversation about sowing seed, harvest and obedience to God on what he wants us to do and discerning the difference between His ask and our own plans (not that they are necessarily bad).
Multi-generational and multi-cultural fellowship - the essence of the early church and the kingdom. Oh and we even were able to introduce the latest edition to the family to Aunty Joy who happens to be the Sports Manager.....this is life, this is the ecclesia in the community β€
Its time to roarrrrrr people of God! Pulling down walls of anything that sets itself up against God in our lives and others and rebuild our walls of His kingdom rule.
"O God be kind to Zion and help her rebuild the walls of Jerusalem" Ps 51:18
Yesterday in our gathering I saw a picture if the Lion of the Tribe of Judah holding the sceptre similar to the Ethiopian emblem. Representing kingly authority and rule.
'Hail hail Lion of Judah let the lion roar'.
Last night we simply worshipped. No prayer, no testimony nothing just worshipped the King. The tribe of Judah is the tribe that goes ahead - worship.
Last week He came as King into our midst reverational fear. The King of Kings. Wow!
Boom π₯
The early church - the apolstolic, what does it mean to you? What was it really? Why did we move away from the model that Jesus and the apostles set in motion for the spread of the Gospel?
The book I am reading speaks into this and I found this week a prophetic sign that Holy Spirit gave us last year around keys π and the number 22. In scripture Isaiah 22:22 speaks of the keys of authority of the kingdom. This was the scripture He led us to confirming the prophetic word He gave on numerous occasions. I had purchased a ornamental key at Xmas to remind us of the prophetic word that God has given us the key of authority into our sphere of influence. This week I was reminded again in the book of the structure of the early church - house churches π‘. Believers meeting in homes living out the Grest Commission.
This is the assignment God has given us since last March. We are advancing His kingdom one house at a time. Expansion is taking place. It is an exciting and challenging time as we enter into the city (town) through the apolstolic grid Jesus and the disciples laid but we have to obey. When Father leads we must follow...thinking of the song in Sister Act π¬ "I will follow him".
Are you ready to follow Him?
Late post- another good time of inter-generational fellowship on Monday at the YMCA (didn't get a pic of Rachel) and prayer for Ram for healing of his lower back and a good chat ( the first good convo). Ram is a gentleman who has a start up business and works in the coffee shop and now has an office there. The new baby also came for the first time too with mommy and sisters.
Prayer for healing of Inesa our Ukrainian friend who was poorly and for Rachel hit by vertigo that morning (testimony of feeling better the same day).
Come along and join us if your free - every Monday around 11.15. Blessings π
Viewing of the property today at 12 noon. Please join us in spirit π that we will be able to size up the work required and have favour with the landlord. Thanks friends...update will be posted later today π₯
Have you walked through yet or contending? Come and join us for our weekly revival meetings and hear of the open door of effective ministry that is opening up in West Bromwich.
