‼️Mum and Baby Pilates is coming to Therapy & Fitness ‼️

Join our fantastic physio Isabelle Wednesdays 11.15am from 19th September. Babies up to crawlers are welcome with mums

This class will be focused on post-natal rehabilitation for Mums who wish to build up strength and address any ongoing niggles in those areas effected by pregnancy and labour. The class is led by our experienced physiotherapist to ensure you are safe and following correct techniques to have the most efficient use of your class time.

The class will involve an educational aspect as well as pilates based principles to build up the core and abdominals. It is perfect for Mums who have ongoing musculoskeletal complaints such as back pain or wish to start getting back to their pre-pregnancy fitness.

We are looking for an enthusiastic osteopath to join our team at our multidisciplinary clinic in West Malling, Kent.

The role is to take on a list from an existing osteopath who is reducing her hours due to other commitments.

Some flexibility on days but an evening essential and Saturday a bonus.

Someone who has a specalist area of interest eg baby’s, sports injury that we can help you develop would be of interest.

The clinic recently moved premises and we are growing . We have three treatment rooms and a Yoga/Pilates/Rehab studio.

New graduates or experienced osteopaths welcome to apply. Our main priority is a friendly osteopath who is happy to be involved in growing the clinic and helping with social media , advertising etc.

Isabelle graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2014 as a Physiotherapist. She is Chartered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and is registered with the Health Professions Council. Over the last 9 years she has worked in numerous clinical settings specialising in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy including NHS outpatients, trauma and orthopaedics, chronic pain, private practice, professional sport and medical technologies.

Isabelle strongly believes in empowering patients with knowledge and understanding around challenges they face. Isabelle completes thorough assessments to identify a diagnosis for patients and then works alongside them to educate and develop a treatment plan to rehabilitate post injury, post surgery or dealing with ongoing bio mechanical complaints. Isabelle uses a range of treatments such as manual therapy, manipulations, soft tissue work and designing strength and conditioning programmes to rehabilitate her patients.

So many amazing mums are out there doing everything to take care of their children and newborns in the best way possible but in typical mum style they forget to take care of themselves. That is what we are here to help with😊

We offer new mums and any mums for that matter a Mummy Mot to check up how everything is working following birth and pregnancy.

As fantastic as the NHS is the follow up after pregnancy and birth is very minimal. Usually a quick check in at 8 weeks often without a physical examination or time to ask all those little questions like ‘when can I start exercising’ or is this or that normal.
