Large privet hedge cut and lowered, about 100 m looks great now .

A little hedge tidy up and height reduction in tingley this week .

Another block paving and path deep cleaned and re sanded in Tingley. . The use of chemicals and a jet wash is the only way to get them this clean.
I also did a free little repair as I had a lovely customer.
All done in the day as the sun was out and the blocks dried nicely.

Well if it’s as hot as this tomorrow and next week my shorts are definitely coming back out 😎 I need my legs a little browner anyway.

A little jet washing job this afternoon with full chemical clean to remove 30 years of black spot. It came up quite nice and my customer is very happy 👌🏻

A little job but they all count. Red robin bush reduced and conifer hedge tidied up .

Another job finished this week was this back garden. Cut the grass down ready for re turfing and tidy up , then jet washed the patio as well as all the patio furniture. Levelled the lawn to replace the old bumpy one and re turfed . All ready for summer and bbq now 😎 👍🏻

A job I’ve been putting off and hoping this hedge would come back to life but we had no luck . Basically there was a tree behind the hedge that we think sucked all the life out of it and the soil too which killed it .
So the only way to fix the problem was to remove the tree, all the dead hedge and soil. I also had to re build some of the wall that turned to dust and fell apart, then re plant with a new privet hedge and soil .
Yes it will take a while to fill out again but we had no choice.

Well I definitely didn’t get my steps in today , normally about 18000 today but I was sitting nice and comfortable on my etesia hydro 80 with Kawasaki mega engine power instead and listening to 80s music 😆 .
I had a lovely cup of tea too from my customer to keep me awake happy days 😎

Last week was definitely much better for cutting lawns as my suntan is starting to come on nicely. Who needs 2 weeks on a beach 😎🤣

This weibang mower is great in the dry and as I found out this week is also amazing in the wet too . Cutting in the rain and collecting first class . You guys in the trade definitely need a weibang legacy 56 in your garage 👍🏻
Next mower for me I think is the weibang virtue 77 to replace my toro turfmaster for large properties

This is a lawn I started to restore last year, I’ve now started a feeding program and it’s now looking great . 👌🏻

Well so much for a relaxing Sunday off 🙄 but a job I needed to do . So that’s 2026s winter heating sorted , plenty of time to dry out properly. 🕺👌🏻🍺🍺🍺🍺

Out with my brother this afternoon to lay this small lawn . Turned the soil over first with the little tiller , then levelled and laid the new turf .
Customer in Alwoodly very happy.

A few jet washing jobs last week, all ready for enjoying the summer when it comes! I’ve never used so many chemicals before to clean all the algae and black spot. Power washing was not good enough to remove everything, but worth it going the extra mile to get it done right.

I’m now getting on top of my regular customers gardens as it been a struggle lately due to my ticker, but nothing stops me at the moment anyway.

So it really annoys me when companies don’t do their job properly ie removing the stumps as well as the trees, especially to older customers.
So I’ve removed the pebbles and w**d suppressant, then got my stump grinder out to remove the old stumps. I then put a proper edge in to retain the new pebbles and w**d suppressant then added new pebbles.
Looks better now and this is how it should have been done from day one in my opinion. My customer is happy now and that’s all that matters . 👍🏻

After planting tree’s this week I thought I would wind the clock back a few years to see how much I’ve changed the layout. Haha my body aches just looking how I changed the garden from a dark but lovely space to light and airy
with loads more space for the dogs to run around.
This was a massive job and people said I was mad doing it on my own but I like a challenge and could see what it would look like at the end .
The garden just needs the hedges to grow back completely now as they had no light to grow before but they’re coming on nicely now .
This was probably the last massive job I’ll do now on my own as I haven’t the time anymore and I try and stay to smaller things.
Although I can say I really enjoyed it and it’s definitely added to the value of this beautiful property. ❤️💪🏻💪🏻

A hard few days planting 9 trees out of 325 L pots they were blooming heavy and awkward when working on your own. Ha this definitely got my heart pumping 145 bpm 🥹.
I started this job a while ago and it’s been ongoing since , a few more Bush’s and a section of hedge to repair and lawn treatments then it just needs maintaining.

Jet washing and power brushing season has started book your slot now 😁

A very ugly hedge needed topped to make it a little tidier , also a little off the front.
It was hard to make it look good because it was all over the place and a lot of it was dead. But my customer just wanted it to look a little better before she changed it for a fence at some point.

A friend of mine asked me to clear the brush in front of his work sign and off the fence too . All made harder because it was all tangled up in the razor wire 🤯 but I managed it without killing my self 🙌🏻.
Ps if you need a used bike Jordens in Gildersome is the place to go . Awesome bikes with first class service. I fully recommend them 100 % . 👍🏻

Another day another massive hedge completed . 2 days hard graft and my back is killing ha . Topped and edged , it turned out to be very difficult with all the obstacles I the way and the height but I managed it .
Everything cleared away and just waiting for me to cut the grass next week.

Happy new year everyone, well it’s back to work this week with a little job to loosen up after a month of eating and drinking too much .
2 trees topped and a hedge cut back 12 “ and 24” off the top to allow my customer to get his classic car past without scratching it .
Not a massive job but they all count.
