If you’re in or close to the area then pop in for a retro boogie and bevvy. We had a good few banging nights playing at the landlady’s previous venue so this is shaping up to be more of the same again 👌

Heya Peeps! 😎 We are now looking for a local venue to play for a last second booking for Saturday 22nd June if there is anywhere with an available slot.

We find ourselves at a loose end for this Saturday night as a result of a venues mismanagement 👎
We were meant to be playing at The Street Inn, Street (where else??), but they’ve changed hands yet again and the current management claim they didn’t know we were meant to be playing (🤔🤔).
The previous manager failed to tell us he was moving on a few weeks ago, and was strangely silent to my initial message to check in if all was still ok. He soon pepped up when I pointed out the balls up that he facilitated in the first place!

To be honest this sort of thing is happening more and more across the board. Too many flash in pan wannabe landlords are taking on venues, lasting a couple of months and leaving a trail of let-downs wherever they go. They run the place into the ground and don’t realise that the entertainers and staff they f**k around are working people with bills to pay.
When you try and discuss the problem with them it never seems to be the fault of the idiot you’re talking to (funny that….). Yet it’s the band, who haven’t put a foot wrong, who get punished.

Oh well, nevermind….
If you’re a bona fide good venue who want a pumping duo then get in touch 😁👌
