Regatta rowing times can all be found in the programme, as well as details of all the other events.

No greasy pole this year due to circumstances beyond our control with the pier being closed for safety work.

You have until the Wednesday after regatta to complete the treasure hunt.

Red Arrows - weather permitting - will now perform at the slightly later time of 1.30pm on Saturday, rather than the 12.30pm stated in the programme.

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will be on Sunday - weather permitting - times to be confirmed by the BBMF and shared via Facebook and Twitter as well as over the tannoy.

The fair begins to roll into town at approximately 9pm on Sunday night - bring your cameras!

Fireworks round things off on Monday from 9.45pm.

Of course, during the course of the event we'll update you here and over the tannoy.

WARNING - NO DRONES - during Red Arrows display otherwise the display will simply be cancelled. Also no drones during the fireworks display, thank you.

We will be open Thursday to Saturday 12 Noon until 22:00 and Sunday 12 Noon until 16:00. With all the money raised going to support the work of Whitby District Lions Club who support local charities, good causes and their fleet of disability scooters.

Me & my girl are spending the next 4 nights at Silver 6pence, just making sure everything works before opening to the public..

Silver 6pence had the pleasure of its first day time guests today, to try out the workings of the appliances & use of space. I think we can confirm that the fridge works perfectly the drinks were chilled to perfection.

We have made sure our VIP guests 🐶🐾 are looked after.

After a lot of blood, tears & hard work we finally have a finished room.. it may only be the utility but it’s finished!!!!

Todays job to sort out the front of the house..a few more bits to sort out & our name sign to go up..

We have been extremely busy at Silver 6pence, we have started jobs & they have turned into bigger & better ideas. Still not a lot to see apart from a building site…. but hopefully things will all start to come together really soon. Bedroom carpets getting fitted on Monday so watch this space for transformation pictures..
