design is a company based in Scotland using broken skateboards, upcycling them and turning them in masterpieces like this. They really are insanely talented. If you haven’t already, you need to check them out!🛹🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Our new spoon will be making its debut in a couple of weeks at our pop-up in .st. Be there or be square.⏹️

Again.. Not even going to try and pretend we did this, wouldn’t dare! Spent way too much money on this water heater to go balls it up.🤣

THAT’S A GOOD SIGN.

Really starting to look like how we envisioned.. are fantastic, really happy! We decided to name our trailer Maureen, after the recent passing of JJ’s grandma. She was our number one fan and I know she would have been proud of him and how far we have come..👵🏻

Taps and sinks fitted and looking on point. You know you’re getting old when taps are a cool thing.😅

EXTRACTING THE LAST OF MY MONEY.💸

Had plenty of metro tile left so decided to use as a back splash for below the extraction and it just looks unreal.. Got our top hat on and we’re ready to roll!🎩

RIM JOB.🛞

All new brake shoes fitted and the freshly painted wheels are back on! Class.

RUST BUCKET.🪣

So satisfying removing all this rust..😎 All the brakes sanded and ready for new shoes!

ALL BLACK EVERYTHING..🖤

So so happy with how these turned out.. Ummed and ahhed about leaving them unpainted after we’d cleaned them up, but glad we decided to paint them!😍

The flooring is done! All the trims are on and we were even able to use the offcuts from the new ramp matting to line the bottom shelves.♻️

BREAKDOWN PENDING.😭

Pretty sure brakes aren’t supposed to look like that… Guess that’s another thing that needs replacing!😩

Floor is down!😍 We’re so lucky to have such skilled and helpful family. 🥲 Watching a professional at work is so satisfying.👌🏻

We absolutely love how the tiles look! Thanks to everyone who suggested the grey grout. Definitely the right choice!😍

Been quiet on socials but we still getting stuff done!

First part of the undercoat on and it’s starting to look like something!🥲 Last bit of wiring secured aswell, ready for final fix.🔩

Got the wiring clips on around the door and for the extractor fan, also got the light up too.⚡️ Finally got the end panel of the cabinet on aswell and put on the final coat of paint on the ceiling!😍 Ran out of caulk so unfortunately couldn’t get the cabinets painted.😔 Roll on next week!

Cabinets sanded and the doors on, ready for paint next week!😍 And got the last wall panel on ready for white walling too.💙

Been a good day today besides the cold!🥶 Got the ceiling sanded and two coats of undercoat on.👩🏽‍🎨 Also got a couple of boards up and some sockets and a switch wired!⚡️

Not too shabby..😏 Under the counters pretty much done besides a lick of paint and some filler!🤩

Been a busy week at work for us both so not got a great deal done but progress is progress!🤦🏽‍♂️🤷🏼‍♀️

Sockets fitted with a little help and the rest of the framework for the counter/worktop done!

Spent a lot of time in the office this week dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s..🥱 be glad to finally get back to the trailer tomorrow.

First section of the cupboards in and we’re very proud of how well we’ve done! 🪚

We are total novices and are pretty much making everything up as we go along. It’s rough and ready but it’s hand made by us and we love it.💙
