Feeling on edge? There's worse things heading your way as Mercury goes into retrograde amid eclipse 'chaos'

The chaotic energy sparked by eclipse season is set to intensify as Mercury retrograde spins into action tonight.

Astrologers warn the first official retrograde of 2024 could lead to a wide spread identity crisis as people begin to wonder who they really are.

And, as usual, it will impact people's travel plans which could cause problems for those who are heading out of town.

The Mercury retrograde energy comes after the lunar eclipse plunged humankind into a collective feeling of 'chaos' making most people 'feel on edge' since March 25.

This chaos is set to simmer down on April 8 - but might not be felt properly until the end of Mercury's retrograde on April 24.

The pile-up of cosmic events will add extra stress to relationships.

'Everyone needs to take a breath and be extra vigilant with their communications to significant others. This eclipse season is all about self priorities and independence versus compromise and relationship responsibilities.

Mercury retrograde happens three or four times each year.

The difficult season will come with 'the potential for unexpected turns, shocks and growth'.

But while many choose to focus on the negative impact of eclipse season, it isn't all bad.

In fact, the uncomfortable moments simply 'propel' us to 'what's already written in the stars'.
