The smiles say it all !

Last night a large gathering of RA companions attended Charles Nicholl Chapter. We were privileged to have a visit from the PG2P Colin Townsend Green and he was also escorted by various provincial officers.

The main event was the exaltation of Colin Fowle. It was a very moving and brilliantly executed ceremony and highlighted the warmth and colour of the order. Our new Companion Colin found it very enjoyable.

In a busy meeting, a GL Certificate was issued, 3 new joining members were proposed. There was also a joining member on the night.

The lodge with its own unique raffle raised over £230 for a companion who is riding the D Day Beaches.

The chapter has 30 plus members of whom many are Knights Templars and who came into to help the chapter.

RA Masonry at its best!

Hello Companions and Brethren.

Why I joined the Royal Arch ?

We are doing a series of short articles on why people who join find the Royal Arch so powerful. Companion Stephen Snaith was recently exalted into Windsor Castle Royal Arch Chapter 771 and like many us found the ceremony and completion of his masonic journey very moving.

If you are interested in joining then contact [email protected]. Look out for more articles in the coming weeks.

Charles Nicholl Chapter 7318 Installation Convacation

On Tuesday 37 Companions at Charles Nicholl Chapter were honoured to host Anthony Howlett- Bolton OBE on his first visit as Grand Superintendent.

The installation meeting was a warm convivial evening that epitomises the warmth of Royal Arch Masonry and the Installation saw the previous Grand Superintendent, Ian Hopgood installed as the first principal. Graham McGowan-Smyth who is the Head of the Knights Templar Order In Berks, Bucks and Oxon was installed as second principal.

4 companions will shortly be joining/ exalted and this will underpin the work done to grow the Chapter which was finding it difficult to retain members and to ensure a strong link between the Craft/ Royal Arch and Knights Templar.

If you are interested in Knights Templar/ Royal Arch Masonry and want to join a thriving chapter than do contact Dean White/ Dougie Leacy/Robin Kent.

"Today has been an experiment; there will be lessons we can learn, and there will always be naysayers, but, as the Grand Master himself says, 'If you do not try something, how will you know if it works or not?' "

The Pro Grand Master delivered a compelling address during the of Grand Lodge in Wales, emphasising the importance of experimentation and learning from our experiences 👏
