That most wonderful time of the year is fast approaching. A time for celebration, joy, love, gifts, decorations and of course a time to enjoy our favourite Christmas songs. Now we all love a bit of Mariah, Slade and Wizard but to our newer followers (and there's loads of you!) did you know that we put out our very own festive tune last year? For those of you not in the know, 2020 closed with your favourite bin men releasing a tune available to purchase. Yep, ridiculous isn't it! An idea born, a little chat and 'what if' moment suddenly became reality as the boy's entered a recording studio to turn our lyrics into a fully blown Christmas track. With the most wonderful support of local band The wolfpack howlers, a team of fabulous musicians, remarkably vocals were recorded, mixed and forever recorded in music history (ok, maybe a bit too far there!). It was a fun exciting time that we could never of envisaged at the start of a memorable year where we all felt the impact of the pandemic. A video was made (3 guys one mobile phone) and an invite put for people to join us in the video. Earlier that year, with the idea of raising spirits in dark times we asked people to join in with our dancing bin movement. Clips where received from near and far, with the idea to showcase us coming together to 'boogie round the bins'. So what better title for a track in true Christmas cheese than BOOGIE ROUND THE BINS AT CHRISTMAS TIME, with any profits made going to charity. On release day, nerves and excitement were at a high. Local, national and international press and TV jumped on board to run the story. Could three bin men really make a musical track? Early excitement gripped, the ITunes chart reported a first day entry at number 54. Then it climbed, into the 40's then 30's. We could never describe how this felt. By close of play that day it peaked at number 14. Unbelievable. What a story. We soon learnt tho that it was very hard to make a prolonged impact on the charts due to a
