These had a loose connection causing them to arc which resulted in tripping.

For todays job we attended a customer who had water inside almost every light causing them to trip out. This issues were resolved by replacing the old rusted connectors with wagos and then sealing it with some F4P magic gel to keep them nice and water tight!

One from today!

The problem at this property today was that one single light switch was controlling all the lights in the property. After taking the lights down it was discovered that someone had done work to the lights themselves, as you can see in the photos below. To resolve, we reterminated the cables into connector blocks making it much more safe and in turn rectifying the issue with the master switch controlling everything.

Bolt Up Electrical is the start of a new adventure for me and I have created it to build my work portfolio as well as my client portfolio. I have worked tirelessly over the last 5 years increasing my knowledge and perfecting my work, striving for nothing but the best out of myself and all the opportunities I have been fortunate to receive.
I have spent time on sites, working on new builds as well as older properties, this includes wiring / rewiring, adding additional sockets and lighting, changing out old lights / sockets for newer ones, installing CCTV and outdoor sockets / lights.

I do currently work for a nationwide based company and Bolt Up Electrical is something I am 100% actively working on and building in my extra time and weekends. For this reason my main availabilty is weekends and weekday evenings with afternoon availibilty dependant on my usual working day. I will be offering emergency call outs also as part of my services.

Swapped out the single pendant in this new build and opted for 4 tilt spotlights to add more lighting in the room whilst situated perfectly so there is no glare/reflection on the telly.

Also added an outdoor socket for the outdoor appliances - no more posting cables through windows or having to keep doors open!

Switched out the standard lights in this property for some more modern fittings. These lights really do give off that warm homely vibe that you’re looking for!
