Repairing a Kubota digger arm for a local builder.
The cast steel had snapped in 2 and the other side had started to split pulling it out of shape.
Some repairs on a loading shovel/bucket piece of angle fitted to the rear to stop the bucket coming apart any more. Not the prettiest but it will do the job.
Ask to do some repairs On a loading shovel. It’s been heavy repaired in the past and the customer just wanted to repair the cracks so they could carry on using it for the time being. Add angle iron on the rear as the bucket was coming apart. Not pretty but it will do the job.
Replacing the whee arches on a grab wago.
This is the 2nd bucket hardfaced for fellows grabs giving the buckets edge a little more life.
Hardfacing a crush bucket for a local company fellows grab. This is 1 of 2 buckets I hardfaced for them.
Local customer asked me to modify a forklift headstock so it would fit onto the front loader of his tractor using sparex loader brackets.
I also hit my tailgate unloading it at the customers yard.
Fitting some scaffold poles supplied by the customer to support the left hand side of the building as the rest is taken down.
Messy job.
I had to cut the poles to suit, put base plates on, drill 12mm holes then drill concrete and fit bolts.
Fitted new longer spikes to carry large round bales and re fitted the smaller spikes on a baler loader/carrier.
Customer sent me some pictures of him using the digger with his new attachment fitted.
Very happy customers.
Fitting a rhinox-grx attachment on to a 5ton Kubota digger to help the business move logs around easier,quicker and safer.
The only issue I had was the electrics and fuses keep on tripping out. so I had a few stop starts.

To take off and flip over the blades on a kinshofer clamshell bucket. As they were very well worn.
The customer Russell from mega grab bromsgrove.
Dropped it off at 1600 hours and I delivered it back to his yard by 2000 hours so no lose of down time ready to go straight back to work in the morning.
Nice little job last week a small brick wall with 2 railings ball top to finish it off.
Making use of some left over steel that’s been in the unit for awhile now.
So making some table legs out of the steel beams.
Log holders,carrier,storage.

Another front garden turned into a nice driveway.
Very happy customer.
Using a granite block paver with the kL curbs for the step and KS curbs for the flower bed boarder.

Remove the conifers and bushes,
Remove wall,
Erect fencing build up the driveway.
Reinforce the gravel boards with concrete blocks.
Then hardcore,sand then block.
That’s all the porcelain slabs laid and grouted.

Helping a friend set out and lay t he slabs.
Started this week.
Fist 2 stages done level the garden and take down the rear fence as it was all over the place and fit new posts panels and gravel board.
Will up date as I go.
Some steel work frame made to cover moving parts on machinery.
Taking out a open fire as it’s not big enough for the room.
There wanting a logburner a 12kw.
As the logburner is big I had to open up the fire place make it wider and higher.
Will update when finished.

We Was asked to build 2 stables 12x12 each.
to the eve the roof was being supplied and fitted by another company.
These have been built out off 6inch solids.
I’ve just finished the gate for the railing job I did not long back. Had to wait for the numbers and letter to come. Fits nice. Just need to spray it now and fit.
Asked to build some horse stables. The owner had made an attempt to start them which I had to take down.
A company that had but down the concrete had done a bad jobs.
From the back wall of the stables to the front is 12ft and it drops nearly 6inches. I had to work the old girl to get the blocks to site low range reversing up to the yard 540 6inch solid blocks. 2 tonne of sand 10 cement and more.
