Mount Battenhall welcomes our new Sales Manager Sarah! Sarah has experience in sales managerial roles in both Estate Agency and Property Developer companies, Sarah rose to Director level with a prominent Coventry-based Estate Agency before setting up her own Interior Design and New Homes Consultancy Business. Recently returning to academia, she graduated with a first-class honours degree in Textile Design before joining ERL as Sales Manager in Worcester.

Elgar Chorale at Mount Battenhall

A brief history of Mount Battenhall 1867 – Battenhall Mount – as it was originally named was built as a private residence by William Spriggs. 1891 – The neighboring property is demolished to build the stables block, gardeners’ cottage, and the gate house. 1915 – Battenhall Mount was used by the Red Cross Voluntary Aid Department to care for wounded soldiers. 1933 – Battenhall Mount becomes St. Mary’s Convent School. 2014 – The school closes due to falling numbers and financial issues. 2017 – ERL acquires the site to build a vibrant retirement village.
