Thank you so much for everyone that came to the dog show yesterday at we nearly didn’t make it with last minute venue change, rain & delayed astroturf 🤣 but the amazing team at Manchester Pride came together to pull this amazing fabulous event off! Thanks to all the pups & puppies involved and of course the amazing judges! Will share loads more snaps but had to share these of my favourite dogs 🐶

Big Fatt Pool Party!

I cannot explain to you how much I loved this event! Seeing so many diverse bodies in a pool was like a blissful fever dream.

I don’t know about you but historically for me places like gyms, pools, anything remotely related to sport have also been associated with hate crime and insecurities. But THIS event was a game changer. I felt free, happy, fabulous & safe.

Also leading an “aqua aerobics” session was a dream come true… watch this space… the mass YMCA is always a bonus 🤣

I truly hope we get to do more! Thanks for having us.

Today was a momentous day. After working over 60 years, 20 of those years spent as a “check out chick” at My mum Carol retired.

I am so proud of my mum for working so hard all these years, she installed a hard work ethic in me and even got me my first proper job making pizzas at the deli counter at 16. To me my mum is a true working class hero. I am so very proud today and even got to announce over the tannoy in the supermarket as she left and got everyone to cheer and clap. She deserves it and she worked hard for it.
