I can honestly say that being a single mum, has been the hardest challenge I’ve ever faced. I’ve spent years feeling like a failure because I wasn’t able to make my toxic relationships work. And I still feel embarrassed, that everyone around me seems to have their s**t to together and live in their happy family lives, whilst I’m still here on my own, trying to do the best that I can.

But I know this… I put every ounce of my soul into bringing my children up to be the best versions of themselves. It might not it be easy, and we seem to come up against challenge after challenge along the way 😵‍💫

But my unconditional love for these two pushes me through, even when I question if I’m strong enough to do it. Being a mum has shown me strength and resilience I didn’t know that I had 💙💙

So Happy Mother’s Day to all your strong Mothers out there 🫶 be proud of everything you do 💕

And remember… you are their world 🌍

I had the pleasure of meeting at Soul Medicine Festival last year, and whilst we missed the shamanic session, we had a heart warming chat with Ryan about all that it involves, so it was great to finally experience a shamanic day and all of the powerful healing, shamanism has to offer 🦌 the drums were electric, I met a panther called Rasu and it gave me a lot of clarity 🧘‍♀️

I’ve been on a journey of self healing for a few years now; you’ll always find me in nature, grounding myself and looking for answers. I practice daily meditation as much as I can and I am trying to reduce the amount of bad energy that is thrown my way (welcome to the world of the empath and happy pleaser).

This is the year that I can gladly say, that I will take the time for what is good for me. What nourishes my soul and what drives me to be the best person of myself.

Because our purpose in this lifetime is to be happy 💚

So say yes to the things that bring light to your life, and no to anything that makes you question it 🐆

So today was the day I decided to start trail running! Didn’t check the weather, didn’t pack waterproofs and turned my Strava off after 0.03km 🤣

But an hour later, after a face full of wind, rain and hail, I’m pleased to say, I actually enjoyed it! 🫶

Trying to find a little bit of ‘me’ time in each day, because self love is the most important love 💚

There were things that I wanted to achieve when I set up F-Bomb Bangles a couple of years back (thanks Covid!), and one of the key points of the business, was to create a community of like-minded people; people who were struggling with life on a day to day basis and were honest enough to admit when we were feeling that way…

I wanted my bangles to give people a little bit of hope and positivity when they were struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel… and it’s only recently that I’ve sat down and read through the hundreds of wonderful testimonials that you lot have taken the time and energy to write 🤍

I still feel like I have soooo much more to give, but these amazing reviews really do make me proud and I feel like we’ve helped so many people through some rubbish times!

Can we just take a moment please… 😮‍💨

I don’t know about you, but sometimes, the world just seems to go a little too fast (2023 what!?). Plate spinning, multi-tasking and pretty much bending over backwards, forwards and finally into a tiny pretzel that can’t bend anymore 🥨

We all juggle so much in our day to day lives, that we forget the importance of just being ‘present’ 🧘How often can you say that you get to just be ‘still’ and happy in the moment that you’re in, even for 5-10 minutes? Be honest with yourselves 😉

For me, my stillness is being in nature; reconnecting, grounding and generally just getting away from the hustle and bustle of ‘normal’ life (and people 🤣).

I’m not saying that this is for everyone (though I struggle to understand how people don’t enjoy the great outdoors 😳😂), but if you can find 10 minutes peace in your day, with whatever it is that makes you feel at peace, then embrace that time and remember how important you really are 🫶

And breathe…. 🧘
