A big thank you to everyone for coming to yesterday's fete! It was a great success, and we hope everyone enjoyed it. We’ll update you on how much we've raised once we’ve counted the cash! Special thanks to all our volunteers and those who donated raffle prizes – we cant run these events without your support.
We wanted to go out with a bang, so with mixed emotions we're sad to say yesterday's fete was our last event as the current committee.
After 6 years on the committee, including 3 as chair, I’ve decided to step down to allow someone new to bring fresh ideas and energy to FOIPS.
I also want to thank Alicia Bluck and Claire Casey, who have served as vice chair and secretary for the past 3 and 4 years. Both are also stepping down to focus on other commitments. Your dedication has been invaluable, and we deeply appreciate your support.
Rose England remains on the commitee as our fantastic treasurer. We’re now looking for a new team to take over the other roles. No experience is needed – we’ll provide support, or if you're the type who prefers to give it a go your own way, that's no problem either!
