Feedback from Coach Dan following an amazing comeback by the U13s! The team spirit and character shown in coming back from a big deficit with only 8 minutes left to play was unbelievable. It would have been easy to give up and say, 'It wasn’t our day,' but these lads never accepted defeat and left everything on the pitch. They were rewarded for sticking together and believing in themselves and in each other. After a nightmare start, the team responded brilliantly, and from there, we seemed to take control. There were some outstanding individual performances that kept us in the game and helped us regain momentum. The scenes at the end were incredible to witness, creating a fantastic memory for the team 💛🖤 Here’s a video of the last-minute celebration:
