Very quiet lately, But we have just completed another full garden project in Worksop.🏡

The garden before was on a slight decline so was a test getting levels and making this work for the customer and the pictures just show the results.

We have been very quiet the past month on here. 👎

But thats because we are completing customers work to high standards.

Here’s a fencing job we completed which then turned into a full patio been taken up and laid back down onto a full bed of mortar and slurry primer on the back of the slabs. We also tidied the edge of the slabs up with treated timber and freshened it up with some new decorative stone.

So over a few weeks we have been dropping back onto this job for a previous client as and when they are ready for us and in between other jobs.

3.3m x 9m garage build, and a garage conversion started.

Roof timbers on today ready for the big push tomorrow to get the roof finished and scaffold down.

Christmas has been and gone, we’ve been very busy so not many posts recently.

Here’s a few jobs completed in 2023 already, with more to come.

First job out in eggborough to a returning customer extending a small patio area so can fit a new pergola and hot tub ready for the warmer months coming.

Second job in Dinnington was a raised patio and lower patio put in from scratch using kandla grey Indian stone.

What a transformation this is to a new build property. Customer will be having artifical grass fitted in the near future to completely finish this garden off.

Another job completed last week for North Lincolnshire Council!

Unfortunately, the existing embankment was damaged due to wide load vehicles. North Lincolnshire Council contacted us via checkatrade seeking help.

First of all we had a road closure put in place so that the works could commence.

During the process, we began to compact the existing area. This job required top soil and road planings to reinstate the embankment to its original state.

Another job completed by JGClearance this week!!!

This week we had been called out to rectify someone else’s work that had previously been done. With the customer starting to notice a few issues over the past few weeks with the driveway sinking and the ridiculous amount of water standing above the drive (as seen in the pictures).

Starting the job, we then discovered that some areas of the driveway have been dug down to 450mm in depth, finding a damaged drain pipe below ground that had been left… which was partially the main cause of the problem (sunken driveway).

- We started off by digging out all the ‘apparent’ MOT that was installed. Removed the old membrane and gravel from the area affected, then exposing the area where the problem was.

- Then we installed a new soakaway system, Connecting the drainage up to the rainwater pipe, Adding a French drain through the middle of the driveway (Extra drainage for the rainwater in the future).

- Then stoned up with MOT type 1, Placed geotextile membrane down and then finished off with some fresh 20mm gravel.

As you can see from the pictures below (before/after) the obvious improvement to this ‘now’ new driveway.

Another job completed last week for one of our clients.

- Old drains removed and re-located to go around the concrete base.
- Dug out 450mm deep, stoned up at 150mm with mot type 1.
- Visqueen laid down and turned up above the finished base, A393 steel mesh laid in with 40mm stands.
- To finish the week off 7.75m3 of concrete pumped in for the location and access to the raft footing.

Another job with a happy customer and we will be back in a few weeks to start building the shell on this.

So this week the job needed a lot of work as the path was over the dpc level, This has been causing a lot of damp inside the house, That much it needs to be took back to brick and re-done.

So to resolve this we dug out the old path, took enough out so it was 150mm below dpc.

Stoned up with 100mm of mot type 1 and then laid silver grey Indian stone with grey jointing compound.

Which was all laid to help water now run away from the house so there’s no damp in the future. Job complete and another happy customer.

No 1- Some garden maintenance, grass cutting, replanting some trees, weeding, hedges trimmed and some trees removed.

No 2 - Cordoned of the grass area and re-seeded at a local pub for a client.

No 3 - The last job of the week, this client wanted the concrete base extending so they can fit a 10ft x 14ft shed there.

Local job we picked up... Customer wanted a De-Vegetation to the rear garden which needed plenty of work to be done.

As per the pictures you can see how much it has opened the garden up showing how much land that was hidden!
