LIP FILLER JOURNEY👄

Lip filler aftercare-

•Stay hydrated before & after treatment

•Avoid high temperatures (saunas, sunbeds for at least 48 hours)

•Apply arnica cream, aloe vera or Vaseline to help reduce bruising

•Avoid strenuous exercise for 24-48hours as this may make swelling/ bruising worse

•Eat plenty of hydrating fruits & vegetables

•Avoid makeup on the lips for upto 48hours

•Do not sleep on your face, try to keep elevated on pillows to reduce swelling

•Apply an ice pack or cube afterwards to help ease itching, swelling or bruising

•Ask your doctor what pain medications are suitable for you to take if discomfort arises

•Do not have alcohol before your appointment or after for upto 48hours as this can cause alot of bleeding during and more bruising & swelling after.

•Be gentle when washing your face, no waxing, facials anything abrasive to the face for 2 weeks

All of these steps help to ensure your lip filler healing process runs smoothly and for you to get your best results. Bruising & swelling is completely normal.
