Change of Creative Direction.

My name is Sarah-Jane and I'm an artist based in North Wales. My work consists of Traditional, mixed media, textile and fibre art.

I've had a passion for drawing, painting and art in general, for as long as I can remember. I also love creating cute, fun and whimsical characters, alongside my other work.

My style of work this year, has taken quite a different direction and is the main reason behind deciding to rebrand my business, from Lavender Bear Art, to Art's In My Heart.

Back in February last year (straight after Spring Fair 2019 in fact), I was wanting to try a new craft, so I took up needle felting and that's where my love affair with fibre, yarn and textiles in general started.

As the year has gone along and my style has changed, I felt that the name and logo, Lavender Bear Art, didn't fit with it. My customers were getting confused and even smelling my makes...Lavender!

So here is my new brand...Art's In My Heart...I feel it fits with me on a personal level and will incorporate everything within the art spectrum that I enjoy creating, whether that be traditional pencil work, mixed media, textiles or fibre.

The aim for my artwork is to bring joy and fun to the person receiving one of my pieces and to always make people smile.
