Well our new additions to Ty Mawr arrived safely today and settled in really well.
A big welcome to Taz and Toto our new Kune Kune pigs very friendly little boys .
They are 3 year old brothers and we are thrilled to have rescued them here's to many happy years here.

Does anyone have any fairy/wizard themed items that they would like to donate to Ty Mawr Country Park eg costumes, wings, wands, sparkly material etc for an event for next year .thank you

The llamas and sheep have moved to the bank field by the picnic area to make room for our new arrivals....

Been given a donation of paint but can't use these free to anyone that can make use of it

Weather is perfect

Another request to please be aware of what you are feeding our rabbits and guinea pigs ,today I found a lot of leeks in their pens . Although not poisonous it causes major tummy upsets.Just because it's green doesn't mean it is safe for them .This is only the start of the school holidays and we have had 2 bad foods put in their pens for them .Please help to keep our animals safe they only need a tiny amount of veg in the day as we provide them with a balanced diet .I know the children love to feed them but this is becoming a big concern for us .Thank you .

Has anyone got any soft toys or boys toys small that they would like to donate to Ty Mawr for our fund raising events please proceeds will go to the animals thank you

Please can people stop feeding the guinea pigs ivy it is toxic to them and can cause death ,there are numerous notices on the pens ,this is what I found in the pen today and some has been nibbled,there is plenty of grass around which they will love and is good for them .Sorry for the stern post but this is serious thank you

Please be aware that the local schools will be holding part of the school Olympics at Ty Mawr .It will be on Monday Morning 8 th July from 9.30 ,please can we ask that you place your dog on a lead and be aware that children will be running on the path around Ty Mawr just for that morning.Thank you in advance .
