As we enter into a new year our thoughts often turn to health and well-being, new year resolutions, new year - new you and so on...
I find many certainly idealic, however generally unrealistic, especially with today’s fast pasted life and additional restrictions - or perhaps I am just terribly lazy 🙈
loaf. methods of baking, like so may other fabulous artisans are built with optimal health at forefront. we intrust our millers, who by working closely with farmers, source the best quality grains from the most nourished land and together with the sourdough baking method - overnight slow fermentation process, all resulting in positive effects on the gut microbiome. consumed daily by billions, there are an increasing amount of studies outlining a healthier gut results in better physical and mental health.

Holiday dates ⛱

We shall be closing from July 13th and reopen on the Friday 29th with all our freshly baked goodies
If you would like to pop one or a few loaves in the freezer, frozen the same day taste equally delicious when defrosted
We would advise a preorder, in advance to collect either the 8th, 9th or 12th July to avoid disappointment
Let’s hope we actually make the destination this year 🤞
We hope you all understand that whilst it’s disappointing to close it is necessary to have a complete break and enjoy some quality time with our family x

Thank you for the overwhelming support over the past 15months.
Our bread loving community has grown week on week, and it is no secret that we have been a little hot under the collar. Behind the scenes in our spare time we have been helping restore an old dairy pallor into a new and improved bakery.
Sourdough isn’t particularly forgiving if you aren’t working in the right conditions, shaping 150+ loaves with doors open, temperature constantly fluctuating has been challenging, we felt the growth that is needed to consistently serve our community could no longer continue in a tiny space and therefore to forecast a better structured working environment was key
We will be baking out of the old dairy pallor, and serving Wymondham on our usual bake days from 9am we will now have more time to chat to our beautiful bread family without those dreaded timers cutting us short!
The biggest and we are sure most popular change, is that cinnamon buns will now be available when we open!
We are excited to be able to produce more of your favourites and have some amazing new additions

… from this Saturday onwards we will be offering ‘sourdough sandwiches’
open on our usual bake days 9am-3pm
We are however looking into options for addition coffee days

many have been talking to us, concerned over the reduced supply of exported wheat and surging commodity prices which have been heavily documented due to recent upsetting events
as a new business we have made conscious decisions to fully understand our food chain, in turn, passing on our values of which justice and sustainable development are at heart
our flours our grown and milled here in the U.K, organic, free from pesticides and herbicides, as well as paying farmers properly
our beautiful heritage spelt grown in a neighboring county and milled by the talent that is
we have also been fortunate to join the WILDFARMED] family. A progressive pasture cropping system. this low impact method of farming allows our soil to regenerate by recycling nutrients back into the soil, uses no pesticides, and removing carbon from our atmosphere while improving ecosystem, biodiversity, AND producing perfectly rich, delicious grains!
we incorporate flour from into our breads, focaccia and buns to help fight against climate change, biodiversity loss and producing a delicious and environmentally friendly bread, which will benefit both people and the planet
Wildfarmed already have farms in Norfolk, including the likes of Wild Ken Hill and Sandringham.
