NAA Junior Coaching Session This is the first in a series of coaching sessions for Young archers who are members of Norfolk Archery Association. This first session will be taking place at Wymondham archers indoor venue and is available for 12 participants.

Get in touch with Damien or fill out the form if you are interested in representing the County. a number of our archers have come back with medals from this event in the past, would be good to keep that participation and competitive level going!

Entries are now open for the Archery GB National County Teams Championships and we want to send as many teams as possible! If you're interested in representing Norfolk please either fill in the Google form that has been sent round by email or contact our Squad Manager Damien ([email protected]) and let him know. The competition is Saturday 28rd & Sunday 29th September 2024 - although both our email and the Archery GB website have a mistake that says it is the 23&24th, this isn't correct!
We have an upcoming team friendly against Cambridge and Essex on Sunday 21st July so make sure to keep that date free if you can - we want to take as many team members as possible and it's great practice!
We hope to see as many of you taking part as possible and representing our fantastic county at an amazing shoot!

Wymondham Archers has just received a late cancellation from one of our coaches who is unable to make our first-aid course on Sunday all day. If you are a coach in Norfolk and wish to take part in this course that will give you an emergency first-aid at work qualification please private message me now. The cost of the course is £50. You will be needed to be at Wymondham Rugby Football Club from 9 am to 5 pm on Sunday coming.

Another excellent friendly shoot between Wymondham Archers, City of Norwich and Iceni Archers at Wymomdham Archers Indoor Range. Some great head to head matches and a one arrow shoot over for second and third place.

Well done to all of our Wymondham Archers that took part in the Norfolk Archery Association, County Championships at Hingham Bowmen. I know you all work so very hard at practice. And a massive thumbs up go, also to, those that didn't make the podium but went along and did their best. I hope indeed that you all had a superb time. Hingham Bowmen put on a great tournament.

Recently Wymondham Archers hosted Hingham Bowmen and Grey Goose for a friendly inter-club competition. Although the scores were tied up at the halfway mark, Wymondham managed to pull ahead and win after some excellent performances in the head-to-head matches. Well done to everyone who shot and thank you for helping make this evening so brilliant!

Entries are live for our Indoor WA Weekend in March 2024, and we have been approved once again for World Record Status.
We have 2x WA18 rounds on Saturday 23rd March, and a Combined WA25m and WA18m on Sunday 24th March.
This will be held in the usual hall at Easton College.

I just wanted to make you aware of the Rugby Club has a minis festival coming up soon. We are letting you know so you can plan ahead. It'll take place on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th October.

The Outdoor Range will still be open, however the car park will be very busy. Please make suitable adjustments to your busy Archery Sessions. Thanks, Pete.
