What a week! Our first bingo night, Greek night, Sunday Quiz with Jean and Poppleton Sports Day! We've been very busy and had great fun! Thanks to all our customers for coming to support all or any of these events. The Sunday Night Quiz was a very busy one and raised £317 for Yorkshire Air Ambulance Our June dates for our events are now out and we will post more detail over the next few days.
Bingo Night Rocked! A massive thank you to everyone that came last night. Laura Castle from YorkMix did an amazing job at bingo calling and we had LOTS of winners. We raised £120 for St Leonard's Hospice with the bingo donations and more in the buckets. Our next Bingo Night will be Wednesday 12th June so put it in your diaries!
Velma, you really were the best once again! Thanks to you and to everyone that came, partied and had the best night ever! Until next year....
Thank you so much to everyone that attended on Sunday. We had a packed pub and raised a staggering £294.38. Jean also raised £118.90 outside with her tombola. Jean's last quiz is this Sunday so don't miss it! We are also selling Yorkshire Air Ambulance Christmas Charity Cards in the pub so still plenty of chance to help raise money for this wonderful charity.
