Yesterday we had a fabulous day on our Christmas trip. Fun was had by the children and even the grown ups! Father Christmas even came along to visit us.
A massive thank you to Beetle bank farm for opening up for us all at Nursery 👏😀

The preschool children are enjoying the new winter interest table ❄️ ❄️

This morning the children got a visit from a Fire Engine 🚒🚒 the children were so excited when they saw it coming down the road to nursery, The children got to look in all the shutters and doors and saw the big hose pipes and the ladders. The children were really excited to look inside and sit on the seats.
The children enjoyed the visit from North Yorkshire fire and rescue. Thank you so much to the amazing fire fighters. The children loved it.

This morning was the pre-school graduation, we had a lovely morning and we will be sad when they start leaving for school. We are going to miss them all as we have watched them grow but now they are all ready for their new adventures at big school.

This week we’ve said goodbye to Jill, she has been part of Straylands for 17yrs. We all would like to wish her the best in her very well deserved retirement. 🥰

Today we went for a walk to the park where we spotted a fire engine on our way. The firemen showed us their fire engine and let us have a look inside, how lucky were we 🚒🚒 thanks x

The pre-school children have enjoyed a walk down to the Foss Fairy trail this morning in the sunshine. 🧚 ☀️

The children have really enjoyed their afternoon tea to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee, look how yummy it looked. 👑😋🥳

All set up for our afternoon tea tomorrow to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee. We are excited to see your Royal outfits 👑

Look at the pre-School butterfly display.
We're watching real caterpillars grow every day that will turn into beautiful butterfly's.
We can't wait to see them change.

The Pre-school children have been practicing to write their names this morning on caterpillars, to put on the caterpillar display. Look how well the children have done. Amazing work pre-School

This Morning the babies went for a walk with the Pre-school children and had a lovely time in the park.

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, energetic, fun person who loves to work alongside others as part of a team to make the children’s day not just educational but also fun!

The role available is 30+ hrs within our lovely nursery. Candidates must have level 2 and be willing to work towards their level 3 or already gained their level 3 qualification.
Additional qualifications such as first aid and safeguarding are a plus but training will be given if needed.

This afternoon the pre-school children and babies went for a walk to the stray, We saw some lovely spring flowers. 🌷🌸🌹🌼🌻

Look at our new wooden dolls house. The children have been interested with it since they came in to nursery this morning. If anyone has any wooden dolls house furniture or wooden people to donate to us they would be very much appreciated by the children. Thank you.

On Thursday the 3rd of March please dress your children up as their favourite book characters for dress up day at nursery to celebrate World book day.
