RECLAIMING SISTERHOOD ~ WE HAVE COME
The Red Thread Symbolism. True Love & the Red Thread.
It’s hard to remember what we have never been taught. It takes trusting our own intuition, our own heart.
It takes learning how to listen to what the soul whispers to us when we can get still enough, free enough from the distracting chaos of our everyday life.
It’s a mystery to me what allows us to remember the Good, and I trust it always will be. Maybe it’s blood memory. Maybe it’s encoded somewhere in the soul or in the heart of what it means to be human.
Good recognizes good.
For me it is a connection to all the women gone before and all those yet to come. It’s a connection energetically that holds Women together, whether in the same place or when apart that we are always held, seen and connected through our hearts and our energy.
The red thread is about remembering the good within ourselves and each other.
And the red thread is about recognizing those who are walking with us, to remind us that we are here together, to be the Good.
It’s worn on the left wrist, the feminine side of the body, to acknowledge that it’s the feminine within each of us that receives spirit from within.
The red thread is for those of us who are devoted to returning again and again to the heart, who listen to what the heart knows and then do whatever we can to put that knowing into action.
For me, the red thread is this unspoken pact, this bond, this sign to anyone who meets me, that I am devoted to trying (and often failing) at being a presence of true love wherever I am.
This is why I wear the red thread.
I do this because the Good between us can never be lost.
In an ancient belief system, when someone's born, there is a red thread that is tied to them, an invisible red thread that connects them to the people they are destined to meet and be connected to in their lives.
It’s hard to remember something you have never been taught, it’s a deep knowing.
I see you – I feel you – We are connected - We are one.
There is in all women a Wild and Ancient Gypsy who cries in anguish when we search her flat. There is part of us that can never ever be happy until the Gypsy can dance."
- Clarissa Pinkola Estes
There she is. . . the “too much” woman. The one who loves too hard, feels too deeply, asks too often, desires too much.
There she is taking up too much space, with her laughter, her curves, her honesty, her s*xuality. Her presence is as tall as a tree, as wide as a mountain. Her energy occupies every crevice of the room. Too much space she takes.
There she is causing a ruckus with her persistent wanting, too much wanting. She desires a lot, wants everything—too much happiness, too much alone time, too much pleasure. She’ll go through brimstone, murky river, and hellfire to get it. She’ll risk all to quell the longings of her heart and body.
This makes her dangerous and She is dangerous.
And there she goes, that “too much” woman, making people think too much, feel too much, swoon too much. She with her authentic prose and a self-assuredness in the way she carries herself. She with her belly laughs and her insatiable appetite and her proneness to fiery passion. All eyes on her, thinking she’s hot s**t.
Oh, that “too much” woman. . . too loud, too vibrant, too honest, too emotional, too smart, too intense, too pretty, too difficult, too sensitive, too wild, too intimidating, too successful, too fat, too strong, too political, too joyous, too needy—too much.
She should simmer down a bit, be taken down a couple notches. Someone should put her back in a more respectable place. Someone should tell her.
Here I am. . . the Too Much Woman, with my too-tender heart and my too-much emotions.
A hedonist, feminist, pleasure seeker, empath. I want a lot—justice, sincerity, spaciousness, ease, intimacy, actualization, respect, to be seen, to be understood, your undivided attention, and all of your promises to be kept.
I’ve been called high maintenance because I want what I want, and intimidating because of the space I occupy. I’ve been called selfish because I am self-loving. I’ve been called a witch because I know how to heal myself.
And still. . . I rise. Still, I want and feel and ask and risk and take up space.
I must.
Us Too Much Women have been facing extermination for centuries—we are so afraid of her, terrified of her big presence, of the way she commands respect and wields the truth of her feelings. We’ve been trying to stifle the Too Much Woman for ions—in our sisters, in our wives, in our daughters. And even now, even today, we shame the Too Much Woman for her bigness, for her wanting, for her passionate nature.
And still. . . she thrives.
In my own world and before my very eyes, I am witnessing the reclamation and rising up of the Too Much Woman. That Too Much Woman is also known to some as Wild Woman or the Divine Feminine. In any case, she is me, she is you, and she is loving that she’s finally, finally getting some airtime.
If you’ve ever been called “too much,” or “overly emotional,” or “bitchy,” or “stuck up,” you are likely a Too Much Woman.
And if you are. . . I implore you to embrace all that you are—all of your depth, all of your vastness; to not hold yourself in, and to never abandon yourself, your bigness, your radiance.
Forget everything you’ve heard—your too much-ness is a gift; oh yes, one that can heal, incite, liberate, and cut straight to the heart of things.
Do not be afraid of this gift and let no one shy you away from it. Your too much-ness is magic, is medicine. It can change the world.
So please, Too Much Woman: Ask. Seek. Desire. Expand. Move. Feel. Be.
Make your waves, fan your flames, give us chills………..Please rise………..We need you.

We Have Come to Be Danced
—by Jewel Mathieson
We have come to be danced, not the pretty dance, not the pretty pretty, pick me, pick me dance,
but the claw our way back into the belly of the sacred, sensual animal dance,
the unhinged, unplugged, cat is out of its box dance, the holding the precious moment in the palms
of our hands and feet dance.
We have come to be danced, not the jiffy b***y, shake your b***y for him dance
but the wring the sadness from our skin dance, the blow the chip off our shoulder dances, the slap the apology from our posture dance.
We have come to be danced, not the monkey sees, monkey do dance, one, two dance like you one two three, dance like me dance, but the grave robber, tomb stalker
tearing scabs & scars open dance, the rub the rhythm raw against our soul’s dance.
We have come to be danced, not the nice invisible, self-conscious shuffle
but the matted hair flying, voodoo mama, shaman shakin’ ancient bones dance
the strip us from our casings, return our wings, sharpen our claws & tongues dance
the shed dead cells and slip into, the luminous skin of love dance.
We have come to be danced
not the hold our breath and wallow in the shallow end of the floor dance
but the meeting of the trinity: the body, breath & beat dance, the shout hallelujah from the top of our thighs dance
the mother may I? yes you may take 10 giant leaps dance, the Olly Olly Oxen Free Free Free dance, the everyone can come to our heaven dance.
We have come to be danced, where the kingdoms collide, in the cathedral of flesh, to burn back into the light, to unravel, to play, to fly, to pray to root in skin sanctuary.
We have come to be danced.
WE HAVE COME!

Hello beautiful ladies.
I hope you are doing well!
I am just getting prepped and packed up to travel down to Glastonbury to run my annual Goddess Retreat and quite excited to experience it all in my new venue The Earth Spirit Centre at Compton Dunston.
The land feels so nurturing and I am really looking forward to delving into the Sacred Feminine and sharing Yoga ~ Ritual & Circle with such a gorgeous group of Women. I'll be travelling on Lionsgate so I wanted to share this ritual with you before I head off.
Tomorrow 8/8/ will be a very powerful day, and was a very special time in ancient Egyptian culture, you may have already felt the last few days have been intense...
It is all linked to numerology and to astrology, and astronomy.
An alignment where the Light of the Cosmos enters into our reality in a strong way.
What is the Lionsgate 88 Portal?
Opening To the Cosmic Heart – Authenticity and Truth.
Contemplation question ~ Who Am I Being?
On the eighth day of the eighth month every year, we honour Lion’s Gate 8/8 - a celebration of the Cosmic Lion, a sacred representation of the Universal Heart.
Lions Gate signifies the soul call back to the heart, to a place of intuited alignment with our authentic path and rightful place in the Universe.
The Lion’s Gate falls when the Sun is in Leo. Leo is the sign of the Lion, the astrological ruler of the heart and animal totem sacred to many cultures and associated with numerous facets of the divine feminine including Durga, the Hindu goddess of Light.
All of these goddesses have association with victory of love through times of war.
They fill the soul with hope and trust in ultimate spiritual justice, so we can navigate challenges with courage, confidence and creativity.
The 8 frequency relates to Leo, the connection between spiritual and earthly energies (the midpoint of which is the fourth chakra or the heart chakra which is also ruled by Leo) and 8 is considered a number sacred with divine feminine energies of abundance and prosperity, success and fame, leadership and love, all resulting in the alignment of heaven and earth.
The Lionsgate 88 Portal is the opening of a galactic gate that delivers high-frequency energy into our beings, allowing us to rebirth our spirit energy and the spirit energy of Mother Earth.
This high-frequency energy can be used to open our energy centers, inspire new ideas, raise our consciousness, and enhance our ability to receive psychic downloads.
How is the Portal Activated?
The Lionsgate Portal is activated by the rising of the star Sirius, this takes place from the end of July all through the middle of August, however the numerology of 8/8, and the Sun reaching the halfway point or 15 degrees of the Leo zodiac currently (the peak of Lion -Leo energy), has made August 8, the day we celebrate the portal.
This is why the opening of the Lionsgate Portal can bring awakenings and lift our consciousness to new heights.
Shine your light SiStars!
With all my love.

Slow Dance;
Have you ever watched kids on a merry-go-round,
or listened to rain slapping the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight,
or gazed at the sun fading into the night?
You better slow down, don't dance so fast,
time is short, the music won't last.
Do you run through each day on the fly,
when you ask, "How are you?", do you hear the reply?
When the day is done, do you lie in your bed,
with the next hundred chores running through your head?
You better slow down, don't dance so fast,
time is short, the music won't last.
Ever told your child, we'll do it tomorrow,
and in your haste, not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch, let a friendship die,
'cause you never had time to call and say hi?
You better slow down, don't dance so fast,
time is short, the music won't last.
When you run so fast to get somewhere,
you miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
it's like an unopened gift thrown away.
Life isn't a race, so take it slower,
hear the music before your song is over.
Hello lovelies - We are in the week of the Air Element and she's a bit of a trickster!
You may find you are much more chatty than usual - possibly procrastinating, or you may be feeling the need to tie up loose ends and bring a few projects to completion too - this is a great time for a clear out and ready yourself for a New Moon Cocoon at the weekend.
Here's a bit about the Element.
Air people ~ Libra-Gemini-Aquarius.
Traits. The dreamer, this person is very thoughtful and creative with a tendency to overthink and worry with a very busy mind.
The element of Air & Space.
We can survive weeks with no food, days with no water, hours without heat, but only minutes without air. breath is life, we begin life with inspiration, our first breath, life ends as we take our last breath, we literally expire. respiration comes from the Latin word spiritus, spirit means both breath and prana/ energy.
The air element moves through the heart chakra, carrying the winds of change, we can be inspired, moved or blown over by this element. thoughts are powerful and, like the wind, they can change everything in their path. positive thinking followed by right action can change the world.
The element of air, the quality of compassion and transformation,
In balance.
We experience, compassion, love of self and others, loving personal relationships, balance, a commitment to truth, inner transformation, a calling/vocation, a desire to be of service to others, free movement of breath.
Out of balance
We may feel confused and frustrated, act unlawfully, lack clarity and direction in life, lack commitment to essential mundane matters, look for power and reward, abuse love, abuse alcohol, fear our capacity to give love, staying hurt, thereby causing ourselves physical ailments, eg. immune disorders, cancer, heart problems, chest infections, nervous system disorders, depression.
Join me this evening for Free Online Yoga class to balance the Element of Air.
Email [email protected] for the joining link xx
With love.

Morning lovelies.
Here's a lovely pairing for the week of Air Element and Wild Woman!!
Hematite.
Hematite meaning and uses. Hematite holds the meaning of grounding and protection, and its uses range from jewellery and decorative pieces to spiritual practices, where it is believed to enhance stability, balance and shield against negative energies.
Settle yourself and step out of any chaotic situation. Avoid getting pulled into old, unhelpful patterns. Choose options that are logical, feel right and benefit everyone. Look for a better more harmonious way.
Take time each day to ground yourself. Slow down. Avoid pushing or cramming too much into your day to prevent unnecessary mistakes or accidents.
Holding or wearing hematite - Rest on the Earth and realign your energy.
Mantra- I am grounded and only make wise choices.
Patchouli- The Oil of Physicality - My gift to you is Presence through solitude.
Magical Mantra - I delight in the silence of my own company.
Patchouli Essential Oil.
Pogostemon cablin
There are few essential oils that provoke more extreme reactions -people either love Patchouli, or they hate it, there is no middle ground. Most of the time, Patchouli conjures up images of hippydom and 60s flair. At the time it was THE natural perfume and everything and everybody seemed to be wafting in clouds of it.
Perhaps it was the exotic note that tele-transported them straight to India, the hippy paradise and homeland of Patchouli oil, or maybe it was the dark, musky, slightly raucous scent that seemed to capture the fragrant essence of the era's s*xual revolution. Or perhaps it was just particularly effective in covering up the scent of pot! Who knows, not even time will tell. Apart from its hippy connotations Patchouli does have some very useful medicinal and therapeutic properties and has been used in Ayurvedic medicine where it is said to address the imbalances of Kapha.
Traditional
Patchouli oil is used in aromatherapy skin care for all kinds of problems, such as chapped skin and cracked feet, athlete's foot, dermatitis, weeping eczema, and as an hair care oil for greasy hair and dandruff. It is used as a deodorant and insect repellent. It is effective against insect bites and stings. It may be relaxing and aphrodisiacal, though opinions on this matter differ.
Magical
The scent of Patchouli stimulates the base chakra. It can be used in love charms and amulets to attract a lover, though presumably only ones that like the smell! It can be used in s*x magic providing both partners respond positively to it. It has an affinity with the element of earth and can be used in rituals of Saturn.

Mantra “Be wrapped in peace, lay still in my arms, surrender to me and sleep deeply this night”.
Traditional
In aromatherapy it is mostly used for stress related conditions, especially for people that have lost touch with reality and are all caught up in their heads. It is the 'oil of cool', giving earthy strength to those who are in danger of nervous exhaustion or depletion. Vetiver stimulates the immune system and supports the body's stress response. It can also be used to release tension from aching muscles and helps with relaxation. In aromatherapy skin care it is used for congested skin conditions, acne and minor cuts.
Magical
Vetiver is an excellent grounding oil that protects those who do a lot of channelling and psychic work from losing touch with reality and the more earthy aspects of life.
