Good morning!!!!! York is open for business today and it’s independents(!) day!!!!!!! Please come out and support your favourite shops, cafes, bars, hairdressers and anywhere else that is open today, possibly for the first time since Covid. Owners, managers and staff have worked so hard to make their spaces safe for you to shop in...there is enough hand sanitiser in York to fill the Atlantic and masks a plenty should you wish to buy one. We all need our customers back if York is to survive as the indie city that we know and love so well...60% of businesses in York are independents according to @indieyork, which is part of what makes the city so special.
