What a week so far for the pup-pups 🐶🐶🥰
🌧️☀️⛅️☀️🌧️🌈🌦️☀️☀️☀️

Had almost every weather type but that means they have been able to have lots of new experiences 🙌💛

🆕 Meeting other dogs (safely and fully vaccinated within our own dog family)

🆕 Playing outside - in the SUN ☀️!

🆕 Textures under foot inc gravel, wet grass, chalk/stone and concrete in the farm yard.

🆕 Hearing the combine & other large farm machinery in a new environment other than their usual space and without mum - they were very not phased 👍🙏

🆕 Snacks- lots of new food to try including apple, sprats, beef spleen and other vegetables 🥒

🆕 People to play with including children and other adults 😁

Only another couple of weeks with these beauts 💚❤️💙💛🧡🩷

🥬 Sugarbeet Training 🥬

Starts Friday (26th July) @ 10.30am- 12.30pm for 6 weeks over the summer hols 👍 £45 per handler/ dog.

A key part of any training is to generalise commands and then proof them in a range of environments….. Well it’s the same for Gundog Training and Sugarbeet is definitely one of those environments that dogs need to learn (or re-learn!! 🤣🙈) to mark, hunt, handle and generally be in!

Even walking to heel is completely different in a Sugarbeet field…

There are 2 free spaces each week too for anyone would like to help and throw dummies, but with their dog, to gain experience and receive the odd retrieve, but maybe the dog/ handler isn’t ready for the full experience of the training session.

🐕‍🦺 Puppy & Junior Group Training 🐕‍🦺

A group training class for all gundog breeds from 12 weeks through to 1 year of age. All abilities of dogs and handlers welcome. Whilst these training sessions are open to all gundog breeds, the dogs and owners do not have to work their dogs or want to work their dogs in the future!! A well-behaved pet dog that happens to be a working/ gundog breed is absolutely perfect!!

The classes are designed to use intrinsic and extrinsic motivational techniques specific to gundog breeds (such as dummies), which, alongside positive reinforcement training, should show extremely strong results within a short space of time!

5 Sessions available to book (All Friday Mornings):

🕰️ 9.30am-10.30am
💷 £45 per session OR £175 for block booking of all 5 sessions (saving £50!)

Only a £10 deposit payable per session booked, remaining balance can be paid at each session*

🐕 Pre-novice/ Novice Handler Training 🐕

Entering working tests? Or trying to bridge the gap between puppy training and novice training?

This session is aimed at practicing your line training, your dogs ability to work with distractions, building the dogs confidence to blinds and exercises to strengthen your dogs handling ability and sharpness… this session is for all handlers and dogs that might not be quite ready to take on a full retrieve with all handling commands, but want to know how to correct their dog if it goes wrong, and how to set up exercises to train their dog to become competent at handling and working at distance.
