The IT Association of Grenada is a non-profit Association of IT Professionals, Instructors, Technicians, Analysts and Executives.
The iTAG (IT Association of Grenada) will help improve the education of IT to the Grenadian public, increase the awareness of the importance of IT services in the development of Grenada and promote IT services and products to enhance the lives of citizens. Some areas of focus for the association are as follows:
1.To promote the sharing and exchange of technical information among its m
embers.
2. To provide a social network for information technology (IT) professionals. To advance the professionalism of IT persons not only within its membership but also within the wider community.
3. To provide a forum for discussion on IT-related issues.
4. To promote participation in educational activities including meetings, workshops, etc. in which current IT issues shall be discussed.
5. To promote the formation of IT clubs for students (student chapters) at the elementary and secondary levels.
6. To assist in the development of IT nationwide.
7. To assist employers seeking IT professionals by mentoring members and maintaining a database of relevant skills and experience.
