The core objective guiding the design of the hotel's architecture and interior is to introduce a new dimension to this historical tapestry, seamlessly integrating and reflecting the vibrant milieu. Taking the place of a 1980s administrative building, the new structure emerged.

The rationale behind the former building's demolition stems from the realization that transforming it into a full-fledged hotel would necessitate expansion, potentially disrupting the scale of the historic surroundings. In contrast, the new edifice perpetuates the architectural heritage of the old city. It echoes the tradition of structures that mirror the sharp corners where ancient streets intersect. From these vantage points, one can simultaneously appreciate the imposing facade facing the street and the traditionally adorned inner courtyard.

Fillet Edge House.

ციცაბო ფერდობის სრულად ასათვისებლად შენობა დაიყო ოთხ სივრცედ და დონედ, რამაც მოგვცა საშუალება სრულად აგვეთვისებინა ტერიტორია და შეგვექმნა ერთმანეთისგან გამიჯნული, სხვადასხვა ფუნქციით დატვირთული, რამოდენიმე ღია და დახურული ტერასა.

To fully assimilate a rather steep slope, the building was divided into four spaces and levels, which allowed us to fully absorb the area and create separate open and closed terraces, loaded with different functions.

ზომის სიმცირე დიდი რამის დატევას ხელს არ უშლის.

სულ რაღაც 60 კვ.მ-ის ფართობის ინტერიერის მთავარი ელემენტია დიდი დისკო, რომელზე თაფლის სხვადასხვა სახეობებია წარმოდგენილი. ფორმის სოლარული ასოციაციები ხაზს უსვამს ეკოლოგიურობასა და ბუნებასთან სიახლოვეს, რაც ძალიან მნიშვნელოვანია, რადგან პირველი მაღაზია-კაფე თაფლის პროდუქტების კომპანია ზზიპისათვის ფუნქციური დანიშნულებასთან ერთად განაცხადია, რომელმაც უნდა წარმოაჩინოს ახალი ბრენდის მთავარი ღირებულებები.

The small sizes don't deny placing big things.

In just 60 m², the main element of the interior is an oversized disc, on which different types of honey are represented. Solar shape emphasizes being ecological and proximity to nature, which is very important, because, besides functional purpose, the first café/shop for honey product company Zzip is a statement that should present the core values of the new brand. To highlight the importance of small products, alongside the wall museum-like exposition with screens and texts is arranged.

ჭაღი “ხორუმი”

ჩვენ მიერ დიდი სივრცეებისთვის შექმნილ ჭაღში, ხის მოცეკვავე მანეკენები ორმხრივი ხაზოვანი LED სანათების ირგვლივ დგანან, ქართული ცეკვების, ხორუმისა და ფარცას ქორეოგრაფიული მონახაზების შესაბამისად.
წითელი და შავი ფერები შთაგონებულია ცეკვის სცენოგრაფიითა და კოსტიუმების დიზაინით.

სპეციალურად დამზადებული ფიგურების ნაცვლად ჭაღში გამოყენებულია ტრივიალური სამხატვრო მანეკენები, რაც ხაზს უსვამს ცეკვების ხალხურ წარმოშობას.

“Khorumi” chandelier

In the chandelier we created for large spaces, wooden dancing mannequins are standing around linear LED lights, according to the choreographic outlines of Georgian dances, Khorumi and Partsa.
Red and black colors are inspired by scenography and costume design.

Instead of specially designed figures we used trivial artists’ mannequins, which emphasizes the folk origins of the dances.
