PG13 Racing 2024 iRacing Daytona 24

Tune in tonight at 8:30pm EST as PG13 members compete in the Sunset at Sebring event presented by Roush Performance E-Sports.

PG13 Racing Car 1 wins the 2nd split of the iRacing Daytona 24!!!

Car 1 stayed clean through the night!

***Daytona 24 Update***

PG13 Racing has two cars attempting this years running of the iRacing Daytona 24 hour race.

Car 1 started their race yesterday at 5pm with drivers Cameron Bidewell, Trent Brown, Paul Gibson, Nikhil Khopkar, and David Shutt. They have made it through the night portion of the race and are currently sitting P1 in the GT3 class with 6 hours remaining.

Car 2 just took the green flag for their attempt with drivers Trevor Hunt, Brent Kirby, Justin Kirby, Keith Oestricker, and Tommy Rhyne. A lot of racing ahead for them, and we will provide updates as the race progresses.

The PG13 squads are back in action tonight for round 4 of the Autobahn Sportscar Challenge! Tune in for 90 minutes of racing from Sebring International Raceway. Green flag drops for the massive 62 car field at 9:15pm EST.

Round 2 of the Autobahn Sportscar Challenge took to the winding curves of the Red Bull Ring on Monday evening. PG13 came ready to race, with 3 of its 7 entries taking podium positions, and the PG13 American Wheelman team claiming an overall victory.

Paul Gibson would lead the charge for PG13 American Wheelman in the stacked P2 class, converting his 8th place qualifying effort to a 4th place finish and just narrowly missing out on the podium. The teams GT Pro driver, Joey Atterbury turned in a scrappy drive to salvage crucial points after suffering some early race misfortunes. Joey would go on to finish 17th in the 40 car GT field. Trent Brown extended his podium streak in GT Am with a 6th to 2nd run that would also give him shared custody of the points lead going into round 3.

Highs and lows for sister team PG13 Black Magic would see them finish 5th in the team standings, despite being down a driver. A late race DNF relegated Justin Kirby to an 18th place finish in the P2 class. Meanwhile, Matthew Gosch put together a beginning to end race and secured his first victory and podium finish of the season in GT Am.

Last, but certainly not least, PG13 Privateer and GT Pro driver David Shutt showed impressive speed in qualifying and would lead the GT class to green from pole position. David battled hard and would ultimately finish 3rd, his first podium of the season.

PG13 now sets their sights on round 3 at Road America on Monday, November 21st, where they hope to continue building on their strong performances.

Brazil has delivered some top-notch drivers throughout the years. Several past Indy 500 winners and family of Indy 500 winners - drivers like Tony Kanaan, Helio Castroneves, Rubens Barichello, Christian Fittipaldi, Raphael Matos, Vitor Meira....heck, even Jaques Villeneuve has done a Stock Car Brazil race! And as you will soon find out, it takes some bad-ass drivers to pilot these bad-ass cars!

Trent Brown podiums for PG13 American Wheelman in GT3 Am at the opening round of the Autobahn Sportscar Challenge! Tougher night for the rest of the team after showing great speed in qualifying and throughout the race. We will be back in action November 7th for round 2 at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria.

PG13 will once again take on the Autobahn Sportscar Challenge, now entering its 12th season on iRacing! The team will field eight entries across the three divisions in the 12 round championship series, beginning with 90 minutes of Daytona tonight at 9:15pm.

It’s race day, baby!

The first car/track combo up for the first two weeks is the NASCAR Xfinity cars at Montreal. The PG13 Racing League Inaugural Season has come to an end. Congratulations Collin Weatherholt on an awesome performance and earning the honor of being the first PG13 Racing League Champion! It's always sad to end the season, but the fun is just beginning ;) PG13 would like to present the offseason league schedule.

Some amazing thought has gone into what appears to be "random" races, when in fact, Trent has gone back in history and reviewed multiple types of car/track combinations which IndyCar drivers have raced during their offseason. The professionals never stop, so neither will we.
