We are thrilled to announce the shortlist for the 2024 Bill Green Award for Entrepreneurial Spirit! 🎉 This prestigious award celebrates innovative entrepreneurs driving change in our community, and this year’s finalists are no exception.

A huge congratulations to:

✨ Concise – founded by Katie Inder, offering data consultancy services to help businesses grow through smarter use of data. Katie’s passion for the data industry led her to create Concise, with a focus on supporting small to medium businesses on their digital transformation journey.

✨ c-sectionuk – founded by midwife Vic Holyoak, offering support, education, and advocacy for individuals affected by C-sections across the UK.

✨ The Seaweed Food Co. – launched by Naomi Tustin in 2020 during the pandemic, and starting life with seaweed hand sanitiser, they now craft a range of delicious food seasonings from hand-picked Guernsey seaweed, packed with nutrients and a unique umami flavor as well as a range of other products.

It was another fantastic event last week, this time aboard Glad Tidings with . 🛥

Voyaging over to the beautiful Herm island, the evening proved a roaring success: a particular highlight been spotting a coloney of puffins on the journey!

It was wonderful to “sea” so many of you there. The boat was filled with laughter, great conversations, and the soothing sounds of the (a little splashy!) sea. 🌊

A big thank you goes also to for serenading us aboard the boat, creating a perfect backdrop for networking 🎶 and to for capturing the laughs in the choppy elements!

And the fun didn’t stop there! Back on dry land, many of us continued the evening at the Slaughterhouse for drinks and more conversation. 🍸

What an incredible evening we had at Alexander Daniels Offshore Ltd last week!

A brilliant blend of insightful discussions, networking, and delicious refreshments; We’d like to say a big thank you to our knowledgeable speakers, Sarah Elliott, Bill Jackson, Shannon Goode, and our very own Emilia Bianco, for sharing their expertise and sparking engaging discussions around the topic of recruitment.

The team at AD created an interactive segment where members shared their experiences with recruitment agencies, leading to lively and informative conversations, and dispelled a myth or two about this interesting industry! Thank you also for hosting us in your offices (and the popular AD Arms!).

On what was a sunny June evening, it was wonderful to see both new and familiar faces come together to share experiences and ideas, and make those all important connections.
