1Sa 12:6 And Samuel said unto the people, *IT IS THE LORD THAT ADVANCED MOSES AND AARON, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt.*

There is always a force behind every great achievements, Moses and Aaron was given a great task of bringing the people out of Egypt from the hands of mighty king Pharaoh, which they did, the next line of action is to lead them to the promise land, although many difficult challenges emerged,yet they advanced from one level to another, and from one mile stone to the other, from one level of glory to the other.

After many years passed, a prophet emerged, and recall this achievement of Moses and Aaron and said " *it was God who advanced them* ".

God is the brain and force behind their achievements, he was sure, and see to it that they cruise through every difficulties and oppressions so that His purpose for their life materialized.
Beloved, the same God is in us today both to will and do His purposes in our lives.

To advance means to make a progress, to move forwards in a purposeful way, to have a head way, to make a commitment as a sign of interest.

My prayer for you this morning is that may the same God that advanced Moses and Aaron to a purposeful aassignment achieved, ADVANCE YOU, advance your spiritual life, advance every stand still projects in your life, advance in your academics, advance your children, advance anything connected to your purpose in this life in Jesus Holy name.

May you be advanced into your place of fulfillment in Jesus name.

*YOU PREVAIL OVER THE LABAN SPIRIT*

*Gen 24:55 KJV*
And her brother (LABAN) and her mother said, Let the damsel abide with us a few days, at the least ten; after that she shall go.

There are many names and characters in the Bible that men admirers, and will love to be named after, yet I am about meeting someone who is called or named Laban.
Although the meaning of Laban is white, the guy is not white or transparent in his ways. There is something about him that always makes him to cheat and trick to have his way out. And His kinds and spirit are in men who who lives among us today.

Laban has just professed that the breakthrough for his own sister is of God and they can not withhold it, yet he hinders her sister going into the manifestation.
*Gen 24:50-51*
50 Then Laban and Bethuel answered and said, *THE THING PROCEEDETH FROM THE LORD: WE CANNOT SPEAK UNTO THEE BAD OR GOOD.* 51 Behold, Rebekah is before thee, *TAKE HER, AND GO, AND LET HER BE THY MASTER'S SON'S WIFE, AS THE LORD HATH SPOKEN.* but after a few hours, they changed their mind to make her tarry for at least ten days.

*Why tarry or delay what you believe comes from the Lord, when it came be done now?*

It was this same Laban that changed the wages of Jacob, his sisters son many times. He was the same guy who prevented Jacob of leaving and pursued Jacob until God warned him not to speak either good or bad to Jacob through a dream.

Beloved, today we have people who lives with us like Laban, they are close but are selfish and self-centered, wicked and deny us of good things, *BUT I PRAY FOR YOU THAT GOD WILL GIVE YOU THE GRACE TO PREVAIL AND OVER THEM.*

Do not be like uncle Laban, who is greedy, selfish, hard on every one including his own children, but rather celebrate others when they are doing great, the Laban spirit is is always defeated by men who have God on their side.

Rebecca prevailed and left to meet Issac her husband. And gave birth to Jacob, *so shall you also prevail over Laban tactics and delays and manifest the purpose and the glory of God in Jesus Christ name.*

Jacob overcame the obstacles of Laban and prosper, *I prophecy over you SO SHALL IT BE TO YOU ALSO*

*I see you overcoming every influence of any person representing as a Laban in your life in Jesus name amen.*

*IN YOUR WAITING, BE PATIENT*

*Psa 27:14*
*WAIT ON THE LORD:* be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: *WAIT, I SAY, ON THE LORD.*

Is it not amazing how grandpa king David echoed "wait on the Lord" in this short sentence?

The word " *wait* " sounds very relaxing but can be very very taring, I mean it can tire you up, it can be very boring.

I wait on the Lord every day to hear from him, a word on what I must write in my daily devotional task.

And trust me, it is not a comfortable moment at all, considering how the time is running fast and I must write and share.

In my heart with all convictions I know the Lord is faithful and he always keeps his promises, but when?
When because time is running out and I must post something and it must be on time.

*Who cares*? At his own time, he makes all things beautiful, and in just a moment " *boom* " The lord drops a word into my heart, and all of a sudden, I feel refreshed and all the strength lost in my tarring moments is regain, all the worries get vanished, I am full of joy.

I don't know about you, but the truth is that *waiting is not for babies but the maturing and the matured.*

In just a verse, king David repeated "wait on the lord" twice and emphasized it by " *I SAY* WAIT ON THE LORD".

God is faithful and will keep all his promises he has made to you, YOURS IS TO LEARN TO WAIT.
*I SAY WAIT ON THE LORD, AND HE WILL DO IT.*

In your waiting, be encouraged by looking unto them that waited patiently on his promises and received their inheritance and strength will be ignited in your heart.

Beloved, *we sometimes wait but without patience.*

I have seen drivers in heavy traffic waiting but without patience, they blow horns, they shout and scream at each other, they complain until they are drained up, yet they are at the same place, not a move have been made due to the traffic jam.
*we all have waiting moments in our lives, moments where nothing seems to work and the pressures are mounting up, but the only perfect step at that time is to wait on the Lord in other to know what to do next*. We weary in these moments.

Why worry in your waiting moments, instead of meditating on the goodness and the faithfulness of the Lord?

*Our impatient do not change God's plan nor speed up answers, but rather cost us.*

*Are you in the waiting moments of your life?*

Hear these words from King David

" *Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land:* when the wicked are cut off, *thou shalt see it. "* Psa 37:34

*Yes we shall inherit the lands promised us*,
The marriages, the children, the promotions, the glory, the eternal life promised us, THE NEW JERUSALEM, THE MANSIONS HE IS PREPARING FOR US.

WE SHALL SEE IT. Yes we shall

Remember, *waiting is not for babies but the maturing and the matured.*

Wait on the lord, yes wait patiently on him and he shall do it.

Each of you must give WHAT YOU HAVE DECIDED in your heart, NOT WITH REGRET or UNDER COMPULSION, *Since God Loves A Cheerful Giver* .

*2Co 9:7* *EasyEnglish*
Each person should give AS MUCH AS HE HIMSELF HAS DECIDED to give. HE SHOULD NOT give because he has to give. He SHOULD NOT GIVE IF HE DOES NOT REALLY WANT TO GIVE. *God loves a* GIVER WHO IS REALLY HAPPY TO GIVE.

In my Early years as a young christian,I often times walk out from service when it is time for offering.
I walk out not because I don't want to give, but because I do not have anything to give.

There have been times I join the queue dancing towards the altar pretending I dropped an offering, but it was an empty hand I stretched into the offering basket.

Another thing I also remember doing is,when I consider my offering is not much,I SQUEEZE IT HARD IN MY HANDS SO THAT NO ONE SEES IT, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS IN COINS.
*Lastly,* the days my offering is pleasing to me because of the volume, weight and size, I LIFT IT HIGH ABOVE MY HEAD, AND SHOWCASE IT WITH ALL CONFIDENCE and ego, becuase I AM NOT ASHAME OF WHAT I AM ABOUT TO GIVE and it look very acceptable.

These were my acts in my days of ignorance and immaturity, and the reflection of these is found in many of you reading this article, and other members in our congregation, who can relate with this unfortunate practice.

One will ask, *is there any wrong with me squeezing my OFFERING* ( *money* ) in hands when giving?
The answer is *YES, MANY THINGS WRONG WITH THAT, *

*1* .Your offering is not a bribe. It is bribes and alms that are given in secret, what Jesus said we used give in secret is alms not offering.

*2* . The first offering service held by man was done openly with theirs substance visibly to all.( *Gen. 4:3-4* )

*3* . Journey through the Bible, from "in the beginning" to the "Amen", every offering was done openly not in secret.

*4* . When Jesus went into synagogue,and men were giving their offerings in money, Jesus stood at the altar to see what each and everyone gave, and they came giving openly and visibly.

*Finally* ,
*5* . When God wanted to give his offering,(JESUS CHRIST) he gave it publicly and visibly on the cross without shame. And that was his only and last offering, (MY ONLY BEGOTTEN SON).

Actually, our offerings must be in the form and be type of a WAVE OFFERING UNTO THE LORD not unto men. Another state our offering should be is; we should not give to please men but should give
*our first* ,
*our best* ,and
*our last* in joy and not in grudge or out of compulsion:FOR GOD LOVES A CHEERFUL GIVER.

*Why squeeze that offering if that is all you have and purposed in your heart to give* ?

*DO NOT MISAPPLY* *Matthew* 6:1-4 and squeeze and crumble your offering, *YOUR OFFERING IS NOT ALMS or CHARITY.*

*Give your very best!*

*Give your very last to God!*

*Give in joy and with a purposed heart* without considering the say of a standby fellow.

David said " *I will not give what have not cost me to God* "
*We must also give with such a motive* " I shall not give what will not cost me to God ".

Today by the grace of God, I no more walk out of service when it is offering time, even if I do not have money to give, I do not squeeze my offering whether it a little or fat in value, because I have purposed in my heart to always give my best, and my very last without shame or reproach.

*Do not be intimidated* , Wave that faithful offering unto the lord, celebrate it, whether being little or much. Remember you offering is not a bribe or an alms.

*God blessed you and have happy and successful week* .

*VICTORY IS ASSURED*

BUT THE GOD OF ALL GRACE, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Apostle Peter portrayed God as " the God of all grace ". Meaning there are types and dimensions of grace, and by these graces, we are able to go through challenges and trails for a moment.

Meaning, challenges are not meant to be with us forever, and through them we are perfected, established, strengthened and settled.

Beloved, our God is not asleep.
He does not slumber,
He is not dumb,
He is not blind, but rather
He is alive,mighty and always rules in the affairs of men, *including yours.*
He will surely watch over us and answer all our petitions.!
Knowing that Whatever that you are going through is temporary, and there are levels, kinds and dimensions of grace available to us, to help us go through, and they are not meant to destroy us, and even if they are, God can turn them to our good.

*Hold on to your Faith.*
*Hold on to your confession.*
*Hold on to Christ.*

*your salvation is here.*
Cheer up for the Lord your God is mighty to save.
It is a sure word of promise : *after we have suffered a while, he shall make us perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle us.*

*DON'T FAKE IT PART 2*

Act 3:6 KJV
Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

*Being real is a deliberate choice one must decide to take,* you can choose the otherwise and act perfectly into it, but the truth is that you will not last, not because you couldn't do it well, but because by nature fake things are not and can not last, very soon the reality will catch up on you.

Apostle Peter and John had many options to turn the begger's offer down, they had the choice to neither fake they have gold and silver but decided not to give him, or give it guy a vain promise, (we will give you something after service), they could have also told this guy we left all our gold and silver in the house but they choosed to be real and plain, they made their yes to be yes and no to be no ( *gold and silver we do not have* ).

Beloved, you can not have all things at a goal, every man has what he or she have and what he or she do not have do not pretend or fake it.

The apostles identified their lacks and their potency at the same time, SUCH AS I HAVE, I GIVE THEE. If you do not have do not kill yourself.

*There is something you have now,* and there are many more things you wish to could have but for now, not.
Do not act as if you have them, is a sin against your own self and against humanity.

*To fake is a great sign of pride and arrogance, you lack the spirit of humility and soon will be crushed down because God himself will come after you.*

God resist the proud but gives grace to the humble, The choice is ours, whether to be real or fake it.
You may not have what you want to fake now, but such as you have could is greater and better than what you do not have.
Focus on them, use them to your best of your ability, that is what you have.
Do not give vain promises of what you cannot do and will not do.

*Remember, the real you is stronger and more potent than what you do not have or what you are not made of. BE REAL NO APPENDIX.*

Recently, I read an article that says " *A MAN IN TEARS AS HE CRASHES A FERRARI HE RENTED JUST TO IMPRESS HIS FRIENDS* " what a needless debt that could have been avoid!

A lady friend went to town and bought an underwear with foams in it, and I ask her what is it for? She said " *pastor of late it's all about packaging* "

What she is trying to say is; of late you must pretend, deceive and fabricate false states.

*Beloved* , these are the realities of the day, deception, pretence, and delusion has become the order, people do not live their real life anymore.

Men are faking miracles, signs and wonders and our ladies are faking their appearance, and men are packaging themselves to impress the ladies.

Why fake, when you can be real and original, why impress others to your own detriment? You want to do miracles? Go to God, are faking it when you can have the real?

One day, Jesus turn and told a young man the state of his living without faking, he said " *foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; BUT THE SON OF MAN HATH NOT WHERE TO LAY HIS HEAD*, .

Let your "YES" be yes and your "NO" be no, sayest the Lord! and any addition, adjectives or clauses added, are of the devil.

Many times in our moments of challenge and hard times, we try to check what triggered or is behind our predicaments.

In our quest for this, we credit the devil and say things we shouldn't say.

One day, they inquired from Jesus to know who is the reason behind the blindness of a man.
They asked
"Is it the father?" We want to know!
"Is it the mother"? We want to know!
Or " it is by his own sin" we want to know!.

But Jesus on the contrary said, *"none of the above, but for the reason of God's glory".*

”*at the center of it all, who do you see?
At the center of it all not of some, who do you acknowledge*"?

Beloved, there's someone in the center of every issue and challenges that comes on our ways as a child of God.

It sometimes looks like it's the devil, *NO DON'T CREDIT HIM.*
He can only do you harm on permission vetted and approval from God.

Let him be beside, in front, inside, on top, or even behind that issue, *BUT WHO CARES?
IT'S THE ONE IN THE CENTER OF IT ALL MATTERS.

*CHEER UP!!!*

[Rom 8:28] says...
And *WE KNOW THAT ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD* to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his
purpose.

*MEMORY VERSE*
*Genesis 31:2* And Jacob beheld the countenance of Laban, and, behold, it was not toward him as before. And the LORD said unto Jacob, return unto the land of thy fathers, and to thy kindred; and I will be with thee.

*REFLECTIONS*
One of the ways to see and know the heart of men is through their actions or gestures (body language) and one the these languages is called "countenance" (our facial expressions which come by effects we encounter).

Gestures are *silent talks* (though not talking but per the facial expression(s) one can tell more of what is going on in the innermost being.

Abel saw Cain's countenance fallen but couldn't read any meaning to it so he kept flowing with him until one day Cain decieved him and killed him; a death which could have been avoided.

If he could read his brother's countenance, that, *he was jealous, he could kill me* he wouldn't have gone to the field with him .

But Jacob smarter, so when he saw the countenance of his father inlaw fallen towards him, he changed the game plan. Surprisingly, God endorsed Jacob's plan by asking him to leave his father inlaw's house and He vowed to be with him.

*Beloved*, start watching people's countenance around you. If you see someone changed, please be careful.

Do not be over righteous! Why do you die before your time? Remember, it is not everyone who can or will boldly tell you I hate you or I will kill you. But trust me, by their contenance you shall know them. Be gentle like a dove but very wise like a serpent.

*SECRET OF LIFE*

*MEMORY VERSE:*
Psalm 36:9 KJV: For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

*REFLECTIONS:*
Few months ago I had a dream; and in the dream, I found myself on a bus travelling to a country far from where I was. Whiles I was on the journey, I realized that the bus I was travelling on had no head lights and it only depended on the lights of the incoming vehicles and that's what it had been the case all that while .

Immediately, I deicided to change and move onto another bus. As I stepped out of this bus which have no light, my eyes went blind, although in the bus I could see very clearly and could notice that the bus had no light but only depended on other vehicles to operate. *This meant that for all this while, I was blind but for as long as I remained in that bus I could see.*

Beloved, not all men are made to be inventors, frontiers, or to be founders; yet we all can be leaders in other people's visions.

Just like the centurion, *"I am a man of authority. I say to one go and he goes, and I say to the other, come and he comes."*
You may be under an authority, yet can operate and function in your mandate.

God made two great lights, one to rule the day (*sun*) and one to rule the night (*moon"); although they are all rulers in different times, *THE MOON RELIES ON THE SUN IN ORDER TO SHINE, BE RELEVANT, RULE AND REIGN IN ITS OWN TERRITORY*.

The psalmist recognises where life emits from; *FOR WITH THEE IS THE FOUNTAIN OF LIFE*: and concludes that, in the light of this life he can also have life and reproduce life.
There are only few that carry global mandates and many others must connect to them so that they can also shine and be relevant.

*Please know your calling, and stick to it. Do not start what you are not made for. Be in your lane, and submit to other lights that are already shinning.*

*Psa 119:68*
*You are good and you do good.* Teach me your statutes!

Beloved, Knowing the nature and the ability of a person enables you to best relate with him or her.

King David knew God to be a good person, and knew he does good things, which is perfect and the exact nature of him, He is a good God and does good things.
And because David admirers the potencies of God, he went ahead to pray that God will teach him His statutes. In other words, King David is saying that ; *LORD TEACH ME HOW TO ALSO BE GOOD AND DO GOOD THINGS JUST AS YOU ARE AND DO.*

Beloved, how well do you know God? How best Can you describe him or speak of him? Do you know Him to be Merciful, kind, loving, pure, holy, rich and worthy, or forgiving, etc? *We can also exhibit the same very nature he carries.* You have him reside in you.
Do you struggle to operate a good virtue of God that you know Him to be?

If yes, Pray like how King David did, " oo Lord God help and teach me your statutes in Jesus name, I declare the days of struggles to be good, kind , pure, forgiving, loving, is over, I operate and function like God in Jesus holy name by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit!

*A PRAYER TO PRAY*

Psa 119:37
*Turn my eyes away from what is worthless! Revive me with your word!*

Looking at the level of pressure and pleasure, and the anxieties this perversed world offers the saints of God contrary to what we believe and stands for, there is the sure need to pray this prayer: *"Turn my eyes away from what is worthless! Revive me with your word!"*

*If King David prayed this prayer, we are to pray it the more in our days.*

We are or may effortlessly be distracted by the lusts of this world, some are due to the level of perversity and cruelty that surrounds us.
We are trapped on every side, we are offered with lucrative promises of splendor and glamor, but worthless things they are, that can not but only satisfy our flesh and rather drain us instead of we built up on our most Holy faith.
Beloved, we must pray this prayer *"Turn my eyes away from what is worthless! Revive me with your word!"*

My prayer for you and I this morning is, *MAY WE NEVER BE DISTRACTED, BUT BE ALWAYS FERVENT IN THE SPIRIT, NOT BEING SLUGGISH IN PRAYER, BYT REVIVED BY THE WORD OF GOD DAILY IN JESUS NAME.*

*Your rules are marvelous. Therefore I observe them.*

One of the ways to be docile and easily comply and walk in the precepts of God is to see them in the light of beauty, sublime and not as burdensome or terrifying.

Beloved, until we see the rules of God as apt, good and pleasant, not only to God that is why He gave them but also good and apt to us in order to maintain the sweet fellowship we have with Him, we will always struggle to obey and do them.

Jesus said *"my yoke is easy to bear, and my load is not hard to carry"* .

King David said *"God's rules are marvelous. That's why he I observe them"*.

What are we saying about God's commands?
*Too hard or easy to do?*
The way we see them, so shall it seems to us and so shall we walk in them.
There is a Grace available to the believer, which enhances us to easily obey His laws, precepts and rules; THE SPIRIT OF OBEDIENCES which we have, what is left to us is to subject our soul to the will of the Spirit knowing that the laws of God are pleasant, marvelous and doable.

Declare like Apostle Paul, " I can do all things (obey all His rules) through Christ who strengthens me.

Have a God's law-abiding week in Jesus name.
