When close friends asked me how last year went, I was quick to say how last year showed me shege and how bad the year was for me.
I attended a webinar organized by in which she told us to list things we were grateful for in the last year. I thought I genuinely wasn’t going to get one thing. But as I sat and wrote the list of things I’m grateful for, I realized it was actually a good year. I had just made the problems I encountered overshadow the good.
I realized how far I had come. So just a little reminder, when you want to chastise yourself for something and be too hard on yourself, just remember how far you’ve come and how much you’ve grown. Then ride on this realization and go get it without being too hard on yourself.

At the just ended Business Idea Competition organized by 𝗚𝗜𝗭 𝗚𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮 🇩🇪🇬🇭] in collaboration with MGA Consulting Ghana]
90 participants were given equipment support and was lucky to find myself in the list of winners. A big thank you to 𝗚𝗜𝗭 𝗚𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮 🇩🇪🇬🇭] for the wonderful opportunity to help upcoming entrepreneurs grow their businesses.
The training session by MGA Consulting Ghana] was an super insightful.
Apart from the equipment support and capacity building, I met many wonderful and innovative entrepreneurs and friends.

I bet you’ve said “Why is all this happening to me”at one point in your life.
Especially when go through a series of unpleasant situation where things do not go your way and it seemed as though the weight of the world is crushing you down and you feel lost and helpless.
Today, I’m here to tell you that eventually, it will all make sense. The process through which you go transform you and help you grow into whom you’re destined to be.
So when times are hard, trust the process because it will all make sense soon.

I never knew how to skip rope (use the skipping rope). The only time I remember skipping rope during my childhood, my sister had to give me a whole motivational speech to just jump once ooo 😅😅😅.
I don’t know if anything happened for me to be so afraid of skipping rope.
This year, as part of my New Year’s resolution, I decided to learn how to skip rope. I can’t tell you how many time my small nieces laughed at me, how many times the rope hit me so many times that sometimes I stopped because the pain was unbearable.
Regardless of all that happened, I took small steps and continued on my skipping rope journey and now I can confidently skip rope.
Sometimes, we want something so badly that we want a sudden big step. We forget that small steps can take us there. A big step is a cumulation of small steps.
Don’t disregard the small steps you take. They will eventually lead to a beautiful big step.

Sometimes you hope and pray for something so bad and for so long that you start to lose hope and wonder if that thing is actually for you.

I can’t tell you how much drinking at least 2 liters of water has been great for me.
For the better half of the year, I always almost everyday I had a throbbing headache I couldn’t rid just find a cure to. Went to the hospital for various medication until asked me to watch my water intake and drink more water.
And oh dear my life has not been the same anymore.
Drink water at least 2 liters everyday.

I somehow landed in my gallery and saw my picture as far back as 2016. It might not seem quite long but the journey has been a long one.
This made me reflect on my ambitions, aims and things I yearned for at the point in my life. Trust me almost all I yearned for has come to pass i.e I’m living it now.
It dawned on me how far I’ve come. It’s been such I journey.
My reflections made me realize I have to stop worrying and enjoy the moment and process. Take it as it comes. Because one day, I’m going to look back at this time with multiple achievements and bigger ambitions and say, why did I even bother myself with all these stuff.
It may seem as though you’ve not done enough, especially in this social media world of ours. But whenever you feel that way, just take a look back and look at how far you’ve come.
The journey ahead will most definitely be tedious but you also deserve to give yourself a tap on the shoulder and appreciate how far you’ve come.
