HEARING AND DOING THE WORD
​The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, - Acts 1:1
*Lesson:*
Do not only teach the word of God as a man of God, but you must commit yourself to doing what you teach as well… teaching and not doing makes you a hypocrite.
James the half brother Jesus has restated what Luke is saying about Jesus in Verse 22 of James 1, that,
"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves".
Meaning that, Hearing and not doing the Word is a deception
Hence to be on a safer side, HEAR AND DO at the same time… yes... Always make sure that both the hearing and the doing are always together in your life...
