*"Withdrawal of court actions must precede peace moves"__Edo North PDP Leaders tell Shaibu, Aziegbemi*

The brewing crisis between Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki and his Deputy, Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu has snowballed into a fresh dimension as Edo North PDP Leaders have distanced themselves from the peace moves being initiated by Edo state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Anthony Aziegbemi.

The leaders who described the moves by the party chairman as premature, cautioned him against initiating actions that would further complicate the situation.

While addressing some journalists on behalf of Edo North PDP Leader, a former Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Kabiru Adjoto, said the ill-conceived actions of the deputy governor were too deep to be treated in periphery.

" We are not opposed to peace moves but we will not be party to any cosmetic approach to resolving issues just on the surface."

"Talking about peace is very laughable while same person is sustaining legal charges against the governor who is the leader of the party."

"Withdrawal of all court actions must precede any peace move, else it will be like pouring water inside a basket."

"The depth of heinous political machinations being masterminded by Shaibu must be addressed wholistically to avoid political volcano in the nearest future."

"Any resolution must commence from Edo North after the withdrawal of the court case and the deputy governor should be humble enough to initiate that; we need to hear from him the reasons behind his ugly power-play which has become a slant on the Afemai people."

Adjoto advised the party's leadership against falling into the sharp trap wired by Shaibu to dim the chances of the party prior to 2024 governorship election.

" Shaibu's surreptitious power mongering has drenched the state with one political crisis to another; behind the curtain, he initiated the Oshiomhole/Ize-Iyamu crisis in 2014, Odubu/Oshiomhole crisis in 2015, Obaseki/ Oshiomhole crisis, the G-14 lawmakers, Obaseki/Wike crisis, Orbih/Obaseki crisis, Legacy PDP quagmire, and many others all in a bid of sustaining relevance; as such, the state chairman should not be hoodwinked into meddling in issues that will endanger the party, he said."

"Recently, the unspeakable happened when the deputy governor threatened to slap the SSG at a meeting; imagine such arrogance!"

The former speaker reaffirmed the readiness of Edo North PDP Leaders to stand with governor Obaseki at every cost to ensure he completes his tenure laudably.

The Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Omo N'Oba N'Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, praised Governor Godwin Obaseki for rejecting the proposal of creating parallel Benin Traditional Councils across local government areas. The Oba thanked the governor for not granting the request and emphasized that being an Enogie is a cultural assignment, not a political one. He urged loyalists to defend Benin culture and tradition and noted that the government won't tolerate anything that undermines it.

Twitter Chief Executive Officer, Elon Musk, has revealed that his much-awaited cage match with Mark Zuckerberg, the owner of Meta, will be live-streamed on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Musk said the fight will be live-streamed for people all over the world, and proceeds from the fight, will go to veterans.

Musk made this known on his Twitter page on Sunday.

He tweeted, "Zuck vs Musk fight will be live-streamed on X. All proceeds will go to charity for veterans,"

Since June, the social media owners have been egging each other into a mixed martial arts cage match in Las Vegas.

Recall that a few weeks ago, Musk challenged Zuckerberg, the owner of Meta, to a cage battle.

He tweeted, “I’m up for a cage match if he is. lol.”

Zuckerberg responded to the challenge by taking a screenshot of Musk’s tweet and responding on his Instagram stories, “Send me location.”

This comes after Zuckerberg was photographed working out with UFC champions Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski in preparation for the much-awaited cage match with the Twitter owner a few weeks ago.

Nigerian photographer Segun Adebayo, popularly known as Segun Wealth, has cried out for help in a heartbreaking message.

Segun Wealth, in a post on his Instagram page on Sunday, expressed his pain, saying, “Love is pain. I mean, love is a scam.”

As a people, we are the descendants of Pa IDU, we are Igodomigodo, we are Ekaladerhan also know as Oduduwa, we are Benin, we are Ẹdo, the kingship of our kingdom is more than 2,000 years, we started with Ọdiọnwe, to Ogiso and to Oba, during the time of Pa IDU our progenitor we became IDU with Ọdiọnwe government which gave birth to creating an Altar for the spirit of IDU to bear witness in all we do to ourselves as his children, the people of Edo still have this Altar till date, then we moved to Ogiso Government and from IDU as a people we became Igodomigodo which gave birth to the creation of Ada and Ẹbẹn as a sovereign Government, due to what happened in the Palace of Ogiso Owodo, having just a child which is Ekaladerhan, this make one of the wife's of Ogiso became jealous by swapping the story that Ekaladerhan must die before the Monarch Ogiso can have other children, this is why Ekaladerhan was taken out of the Palace to be killed but the Igodomigodo soldiers that was sent to kill him let him go, when he was in the Bush, him Ekaladerhan meet some Igodomigodo hunters because of this fear that his father might send some Igodomigodo soldiers to kill him, him run away from the village know as Ekaladerhan to Ile Ife meaning I have run and I have escaped in Edo language, back in Igodomigodo, Ogiso Owodo still couldn't have a child and this lead him to using a pregnant woman for sacrifice and this lead to a revolution in the kingdom of Igodomigodo and Ogiso Owodo was banished from Igodomigodo kingdom by the people of Igodomigodo this bring him Evian N' Urriebe for administrative purposes this lasted from 1130 AD to about 1170 AD which is about 40 years and Ogiamiẹn from 1170 AD to 1200 AD which is 30 years all these brought about the Ogiamiẹnism that lead to the unrest in the land of Igodomigodo because it has come to the hearing and knowledge of the people that their Prince Ekeladran is still alive and is in Ile Ife which means I have run and I have escaped in Ẹdo language, this is what motivated the Royal House of Igodomigodo lead by chief Oliha to go to Ile Ife the land of I have run and escaped in Edo language to search for their Prince, Prince Ekaladerhan to become Ogiso in Igodomigodo, take note the Ile Ife people or monarch never invaded Igodomigodo, it was the people of Igodomigodo that went to bring him their son the Prince of Igodomigodo, Prince Ekaladerhan now know as Oduduwa in Ile Ife which means I have run and I have escaped in Edo language back to Igodomigodo to become the Ogiso of Igodomigodo but Ekaladerhan now know as Oduduwa is too old to return back to his kingdom Igodomigodo but sent Oranmiya to became the next Ogiso with the blessing of Ada and Ẹbẹn from the people of Igodomigodo, when he got to Igodomigodo, the people of Igodomigodo celebrated but Anti Royalist Ogiamiẹn refused them entry and the people of Igodomigodo lead by the Edion built a Palace at Usama for him, due to language and cultural handicap Oranmiya could not stay in Igodomigodo but returned to Ile Ife and later went to create Oyo Empire, but before he returned he got married to Princess of Igodomigodo the daughter of Ogie Egor who gave birth to the new Ogiso who inherit the Ada and Ẹbẹn and the Igodomigodo Edion named him Omo n'Oba n'Edo meaning the light that lighting the part of the Edo people which is the people of Igodomigodo, with the help of the people of Igodomigodo at 15 Years Oba Eweka the first became the first Oba of Igodomigodo also Know as the Oba of Great Benin Empire
