*ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE WEEK WITH EKUMFI NDC*.

*TUESDAY, VISITATION TO OMANHEN'S PALACE*
The entire constituency Executives and the PC were at the quarterly meeting of Ekumfi Traditional Council at the palace of Ekumfi Omanhen, Odeefo Akyen VIII. This was an invitation extended to the party and the PC to interact with the Nananom of Ekumfi. The occasion paved way for the party to officially seek permission to engage the Nananom in their various townships.

*EKUMFI ROYALS*
The occasion was used to outdoor the *EKUMFI ROYALS* a Division Two team established by the PC. The PC ceased the occasion to present the team to Odeefo Akyen VIII and his Nananom and asked them to own the team. He believes if the Nananom are involved in the management of the team it will enhances the image and performance of the team. The chiefs were so excited about this gesture and goodwill of the PC for the people of Ekumfi. The team played their first league and placed 4th on the table last year, hoping to start this year's league in good spirit and qualify for the next stage. Prayers were said for the team and the management.

*SPONSORSHIP AND DONATION OF COMPUTERS*

The *PC Dr. Othniel Ekow Kwainoe* on behalf of the party donated 3 set of computers to *Akyen SHS* for their outstanding performance in secession for being the best performing school in the whole central region for two consecutive years. This is a feet deserving of motivation and thus would want to give them computers for administrative duties. The party made a donation of GHC7,000 to support the reroofing of Akyen SHS Block.

Two individuals were rewarded for their outstanding performance in academic excellence. *Mr. Alhassan Shariff from Ekumfi Akwansa Kokodo* is a medical Student at the University of Ghana Legon courtesy the sponsorship by the PC last year. His performance has been very encouraging, *the PC presented a new HP laptop* to him to aid him in his studies and research work. *Another fresh candidate from Ekumfi Essuehyia* who got A's in all his papers is being offered scholarship to medical school by the NGO and the Education Trust Fund. *Mr. Alhassan Egyir* and his parents were so excited about the gesture by the PC. The Nananom were full of praise for the PC and this made the *Odeefo Omanhen Akyen VIII to also donate fresh HP laptop* to him for this outstanding performance.

*The PC Dr. Othniel Ekow Kwainoe recounted the goodwill Ekumfi has enjoy from NDC and promised to continue when given the nod.*
