During my time in Foso college of Education, I was introduced to the works of Ama Ata Aidoo. Though I had enjoyed Peggy Oppong's books prior, there was something particularly captivating about Aidoo's writing. Her ability to think deeply, cover significant topics, and reflect our everyday lives in her prose was remarkable.

I still recall my English lecturer, Madam Ruby Jetty, analyzing sections of Aidoo's "Changes: A Love Story" with us on early Monday mornings. She would ensure that we fully understood the key points and themes presented in the work.

Madam Ata Aidoo was truly an accomplished author, whose impressive body of work will be missed following her passing. She leaves behind a significant void in the literary world.

Let me leave my readers with this;
