OB Amoah supports the Akuapem South Health Directorate with Hospital Equipment

The Member of Parliament for Akuapem South Constituency and the Minister of State at the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development, Hon. O.B. Amoah with support from a German-based Ghanaian Medical Doctor, handed over some hospital beds, Tables, a cardio Spectrum Machine, an Endotracheal Tube, wipes, Gloves, and a Delivery Mat amongst others to the Health Municipal Health Directorate in the Municipality, to improve health care.

The Municipal Director for Health Services, Emily Amponsah on behalf of the Health workers thanked the MP for his continued support to the Directorate to improve Health care in the Municipality. She said, that Hon OB has built the KOM Presbyterian Hospital, a lot of Chip compounds, pays the rent of Doctors' accommodations, frequent supply of hospital equipment, etc.

According to the Directorate, the Member of Parliament and the directorate are doing all they can to improve healthcare delivery in the Municipality, however, the lack of infrastructure to house the health personnel is posing some challenges to them.

The Minister and Member of Parliament for the Akuapem South Constituency, OB Amoah, has assured that efforts are been made to provide the necessary infrastructure for the directorate to accommodate the staff. It is with a heavy heart that we sadly announce the passing of our goalkeeper, Sylvester Sackey.

Sackey has been with us for the last four seasons and was our first-choice goalkeeper for a greater part of the last two seasons.

His demise is a big blow to everyone associated with the club.

Our hearts and thoughts are with the bereaved family at this very difficult time.

The club is in touch with the family of Sylvester and will communicate our next course of action in the coming days.
