The National Health Insurance Authority ( NHIA), as part of its initiative to enrol corporate bodies on the National Health Insurance scheme (NHIS), have signed up management and staff of the Electricity Company of Ghana.

The exercise which lasted 4 days, saw staff of ECG headoffice, Project Office, Accra West office, and the Accra East office enrolled on to the Scheme.

The NHIA team sensitized ECG staff and other patrons of the scheme on the benefit package, medicines list and urged them to replicate this gesture by registering family and friends using the MyNHIS mobile App.

Staff who took turns to register for the first time, renew and also link their NHIS cards to the Ghana Card commended the NHIA for this initiative.

The special corporate registration exercise is organized by the Corporate Affairs directorate in collaboration with the Membership and Regional Operations unit of the NHIA. The goal is to increase the NHIS active membership with an ultimate objective geared towards attaining Universal Health Coverage (UHC) by the year 2030. ‎

The Volta River Authority (VRA) is the latest corporate organization to be part of the ongoing National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) special corporate registration drive. This initiative gives opportunity to staff of various institutions enroll onto the NHIS at the comfort of their office premises.

The Staff and management of VRA were present in their numbers to register, renew and also link their Nhis card to the Ghana card. Others also seized the opportunity to register their family members and loved ones as well.

Participants were taken through the Scheme’s benefit package and the medicine list, as well as the use of the new mobile Application called MyNHIS App.

The special corporate registration exercise which is organized by the Corporate Affairs Directorate in collaboration with the Membership and Regional Operations Directorate of the NHIA, forms part of measures to increase the NHIS active membership with an ultimate objective geared towards attaining Universal Health Coverage (UHC) by the year 2030.

NHIA organizes corporate registration for staff and management of Coca-Cola Bottling Company Limited

The Management and staff of the Coca-Cola Bottling Company limited of Ghana have signed up for the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).

They took advantage of the National Health Insurance Authority's (NHIA) ongoing special corporate registration exercise spearheaded by the Corporate Affairs Directorate in collaboration with the Membership and Regional Operations Directorate.

The staff registered, renewed their membership and also linked their NHIS and Ghana cards.

A representative of the NHIA, Membership and Regional Operations Directorate, Mr. Samuel Oblejumah took the staff of Coca-Cola Company Limited through the sensitization.

The special corporate registration forms part of measures to increase the NHIS active membership with an ultimate objective geared towards attaining Universal Health Coverage (UHC) by the year 2030.
