When you ask boldly, when you ask in faith, declaring God’s greatness, that’s when He’ll bless you indeed. He’ll make things happen that you could never make happen. Could it be that you’re not seeing God’s greatness because you’re praying weak prayers? You’re only asking for the ordinary, the usual. God is moved by our faith. He’s moved when He hears you asking for things that seem too big, unlikely, things you can’t do on your own.

The reason you need to ask is that God has an awesome future in front of you, things much bigger than you’ve ever imagined. You can't reach your potential praying small prayers, believing for the ordinary, accepting the status quo. God is counting on you to tap into His favor, to see the surpassing greatness of His power. That takes bold prayers; that takes people willing to take the limits off of God, people that won’t be moved by how impossible your dream looks.

You have to be honest with yourself. Maybe there are some bitter roots you need to pull up. You’ve allowed offenses to stay. That’s okay. Today can be the uprooting day. Today can be the day you let things go. You can forgive who hurt you, not focus on what they did, not be obsessed over who’s not celebrating you, living to prove to them who you are. You have nothing to prove. God is proud of you. God is cheering you on. He’s going to make up for the wrongs. Hurts come, but God heals. Unfair things happen, but God pays you back. We all have some ashes, but God gives you beauty for the ashes. Now, do your part and keep the offenses out. Develop this habit of letting go and reaching forward. Live in a continual state of forgiveness.

God has entrusted us with something that’s incredibly powerful: faith not just for your dreams, faith not just for your challenges, you have faith that can thrust other people into their destiny. Be a friend with faith. Be a friend that lifts people up, a friend that prays for those that are struggling, a friend that speaks favor over the dreams of others. Speak life into places of doubt, hope where it doesn’t look good, freedom when you’re struggling, victory when you’re facing defeat. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping someone else rise higher, helping that neighbor get well, being a blessing to that friend that’s discouraged, speaking faith into their dreams.
