At Taajul Quran this is how we handle the learning process. We are never in haste. We make sure that all the technicalities in recitation is dealt properly so as to help our younger ones have free flow in reading the Quran.
We have all the resources that will help your ward /brother /sister learn /commit the Quran into memory. The only challenge is getting enough contact time with students. In order to help in this regard, we are starting effective weekend Quran studies and during school holidays. Students are expected to come in the morning and return home in the evening.

WHY MAJORITY OF MUSLIM YOUTH TODAY LACK BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF ISLAM AND MORE THAN 80% OF THEM CAN'T READ THE QUR'AN?
Majority of the Muslim youth today lack basic knowledge of their religion and a chunk of them can't read the greatest book ever ; the Qur'an. The few who can by favor of Allah read, 95% of don't have the benefit of understanding what they are reading. This has to some extent led to mismatch between "ISLAM and a MUSLIM", especially in our part of the world.
Thinking about this for years, am made to believe that the said problem is as a result of two things :
1. HOW THE MUSLIM CHILD IS NUTURED, &
2. WHO DOES THE NURTURING.
In the name of quality Western Education in order for the child to obtain better grades to enable him/her climb🧗♂️ the higher educational ladder with ease, parents subject their wards to spending long hours in school for both normal and extra class activities. This i wouldn't entirely condemned, but one question that always come to mind whenever i reflect over the above is, DO WE REALLY CARE ABOUT THE MORAL COMPONENT OF CHILD UPBRINGING as far Islam is concerned.
However, per my interactions with several others, am in better position to testify others share similar sentiments. Some parents have done extremely well but challenge facing them is getting the right and well structured places to help his/her child grow to become morally and academically fit.
In view of this, TAAJUL QUR'AN ACADEMY has taken the responsibility to correct the imbalance between Islam and a Muslim child of today. What is left is for the parent to also fulfill his/her part, and insha Allah in the near future we shall notice significant improvement in the Muslim youth.
NB:
Taajul Qur'an Academy is still young and for that matter scheduled for evening (After Asr prayers), and Saturday & Sunday morning for now. Insha Allah with long life and good health, it will in future attain full status of a school so that the Muslim child can blend the two (both SECULAR & ISLAMIC STUDIES) without a hindrance.
