Psalms 1 verses 1 to the end.

I have been watching a movie (The Great Mistake) that was recommended by a Man of God, and it has been amazing thus far, I am not done with it, I am still on it.
Now, there are different scene where the main character of the movie sits with his pastor and the pastor gives him a word of knowledge from God, this pastor has been with this young man, encouraging and giving him words of prophecy from God, confirming his calling. There came another scene where an agent of the devil who had worked her way up the young man's life, came to also give him word from God. Now the young man doesn't know yet that she is from the devil, I said in my heart, "ohhhhh, how then can we tell when God is truly speaking, even when the devil repeats what God has already promised you?" And that immediately takes me to the temptation of Jesus. I remember Apostle Joshua Selman teaching about how we can hear from God and some of the ways are, Dreams/Visions, Knowing of the Spirit, Prophetic, by the Word of God. Now stay with me, I'm getting somewhere. The text for this post teaches us to not live by the advice of the people of the world, but how would one know what to do, I mean, this is our first time existing! Then I got reminded of a post by about us Christians letting the unbelievers teach us how to dance and we bring those steps into Church. The Bible always encourages us to learn and study, it even talks about studying the ants and learning the discipline of preparedness. But everything you learn my dear, must be in line with God's Word. You see, it was not the trendy dance step that made God see David, it was his undignified dance, just as is doing now and with the hallelujah challenge going on. My point is, God is speaking today, He is speaking through the Bible, His prophets, His ministers and His words are on your heart, so stop suppressing it, and listen to Him.
Don't let the world teach you to dress or to relate or fellowship, the Holy Spirit is available to Guide and teach you in all things in all matters.
After all, the Proverbs 31 lady is all that because she fears the Lord

I've been at a loss for words, I don't know what to say, I know I am grateful, surprised even, surprised at how far I've come. Looking back, I can boldly say that I have been helped by God, I have been favoured by God, I have been shown mercy.

9 years ago, as a little child of 16, I left home to get a better life, the sacrifice my parents had to make, the sacrifice I had to make, the wonderful people God brought to my life, everything has come to build the woman I am right now.

Have you ever decided against telling someone their wrong, because you'd rather hurt, than hurt them by telling them they hurt you?

As crazy as this sounds, it happens, each day.

You can't really control what people say to you, what you can control is how long you listen to them.

Don't let anybody make you feel less than your words, be selective of who you give a listening ear to.

Practice positive affirmations, look into the mirror and affirm to yourself, listen more to people that encourages and edify you.

Ever heard the phrase " you are what you eat?" Well, I can say, you're pretty much build by what you hear.

If you keep getting broken by negative words of other people, you'll patches and scars that are capable of trigging low self worth.
