Last Sunday ( Gospel Sunday) of January was so awesome and powerful, so much blessing. I was glad when ye said unto me let us go to the house of the Lord.

YOUTH!YOUTH!YOUTH.. Our first monthly meeting is up and we want to discuss more on the exposition of the 2022 theme given to us and learn more so we stand as an Army ready to win souls for christ or ready to do our masters will.

Theme : Jesus Died,that I might live.
Memory Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10
Jesus' s death was an underlining factor that the rock( God) was behind him- *Act 2:22*
The will of the lord to prosper in his hand( *_Isa. 53:10-11* )
Why was Jesus death necessary?that God subjected his only son .
Ans: *Hebrews 9:12-15* speaking about the old covenant being ineffectual. It washes the outside part of the Israelites but never gave eternal redemption thus unable to clear our conscience.
He render the old covenant obsolete and became a mediator so that we can receive the inheritance (promise).
By his death he has purchased for us eternal redemption.
Again,with his blood he had sealed the new covenant whereas the old covenant was blood of bulls.
A *will* is enforced only when a person dies and not when he's alive
Eg: A bible story of Elijah & Elisha, Elisha wanted to inherit something from Elijah (2 kings 2:10 )since he would be taken away from him( signifying Elijah's death thus his ascension).Before the mantle fell down he had removed his attire and teared it into two ( vrs 15)
In addition ,Luke 15:11, the act of the prodigal son was unthinkable, to collect his supposed inheritance whiles the father was still alive,it can't be yours unless the father died.
He went traveling and squandered everything yet realized his mistakes and came home,the tolerant father received his prodigal son making his elder brother envious( Luke 15:31) the word *son* used in context is a *position* . Vrs 32.
Furthermore," all that I have is yours said the father to the elder brother".
Now that Jesus has died, we have access to *the promised eternal inheritance (* the holy spirit to the disciples) Luke 24:49, John 14:16( the comforter) Act 1:4( wait for the gift my father promised)
Note: Jesus never talks on things the father hasn't promised so when the father promise,he also promises.
Act 2:32-33' the promise of the holy spirit is an inheritance is for us and our children even unto our grand children. Eph 1:13-14 ' when you believed, you were marked with the sealed of the promise of the holy spirit'.
The promised holy spirit is a seal that we have come to that position that qualify us as sons & Daughters of God.
2 Corinthians 1:21' a seal of ownership on us guarantee that which is to come.
Jesus is our big brother ( Hebrews 1:1-2) therefore whatever the father has promised him, he has promised us just like the prodigal son and the elder brother having the same father. Matt 12:46-50, 1 Corinthians 3:21-23 ( potentially all things are ours)
Therefore we are of Christ, and Christ is of God. We are now potential rulers, John 1:4 ,Jesus is the eternal life and has been anointed.
The Christians opposition is in himself ( sin of nature blocking our victorious life).
Crucify your old life ( the flesh) ,live by faith and be compelled by the spirit to complete the task of testifying the good news because for you to live is Christ, that will give us a victorious life.
Like George Muller @ age 87 preached to 42 countries studied to show himself approved to God.
Like Calvert ( A Methodist leader) ,killed all their fears to preach the gospel that' we died before we came here...'
Covid 19 is not the first sign for world coming to an end, but the gospel to be preached to all kingdoms before God appears.
A call to rededicate ourselves,to crucify our old self,God is not looking for titles but for those who will stand tall for Jesus Christ in times like this.
May God cause us to live our lives as victorious Christians.
