The funeral rites for the late Chief Togbui Binah Lawluvi VI was performed last week. Tradition demands Successor. Base on this , the king makers find trust and tradition with Zikpuitor Gasese the Western Regional Director of DVLA as the successor. He is now known and called Togbui Binah Lawluvi VII (Paramount Chief of Ziope Traditional Area)

The people of Ziope in the Ziope traditional area today as part of the final funeral activities to lay to rest the late Paramount Chief, Togbe Binah VI performed the firing of musketry to allow Chief from the area and beyond seat in state to receive visitor to the funeral.
The New Patriotic Party was not left out of this activity. The party together with the District Chief executive presented some items and cash donation to the funeral committee. The Secretary signed the book of condolence on behalf of the party.

The NPP parliamentary candidate for Agotime Ziope Hon. John Kweku Amenya yesterday at Ziope donated some equipments to some apprentices in Ziope in order to support these individuals and their Heads to effectively teach and acquire skills. Among the equipments are Hair dryers, sewing machines and barbers machines. 151 apprentices were in attendance of which 45 received sewing machines, 22 received Hair dryers and 15 received barbers machines.
Hon. John Kweku Amenya entreat all the apprentices to focus and be hardworking in order to actualize their dreams.
