*ONE YEAR OF GREAT STEWARDSHIP, THE NATIONAL TESCON COORDINATOR MR. ERIC OFOSU ASONADE AND HIS DEPUTIES DESERVE COMMENDATION.*

Commending people for their hard work boosts their good feelings and increase their motivation. Commendation can inspire people to be more cooperative, persistent and hard-working. This write-up serves the aforementioned purposes.

Exactly a year ago on Wednesday 7th September 2022, the NPP National Youth Organizer Salam Mustapha released a list of appointments of National Officers to assist him in discharging his duty as the National Youth Organizer.
In that list, I was desperate and eager to see the names of the newly appointed National TESCON Coordinators who will handle TESCON for the next four years. That was where my interest was.

The names I saw were Mr. Eric Ofosu Asonade as the National TESCON Coordinator and his deputies were Charles Opoku, Ayaaba Bawumia and Josephine Opoku Cooke.

In 2022 Mr. Eric Ofosu Asonade took over the mantle from the hardworking former National TESCON Coordinator Mr. Samuel Annobil Baidoo (Snow).
Below are some of the activities I have observed emanating from these new leadership within this one year of their tenure.
These activities have rejuvenated the spirit of TESCON for which I believe they serve commendations:

1. On assumption of office most of the TESCON leaders in various Tertiary institutions have completed school and their tenure had expired. They quickly put measures in place to organise elections in all those schools.
Leaders play instrumental role in any organisation and we must get them in place.

2. Mr. Eric Ofosu Asonade came to office in 2022 at the time TESCON was not permitted to vote in the National Delegates Conference at Accra Sports Stadium on 16th July, 2022. Due to this reason, the spirit of the Tesconians were down. He quickly embarked on a nationwide *TESCON TOUR* to rekindle the dying TESCON spirit on various campuses.
It was refreshing observing his tour at the Savannah Region. The students were happy to see him and his deputy, Ayaaba Bawumia.

3. Again, he introduced the *TESCON FRIDAY* which encouraged Tesconians to wear NPP paraphernalia and take shot of any NPP project by the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government and post it on social media to sell the good works of this NPP government. That initiative electrified the social media space and the Tesconians really bought into that idea.
I was astonished how the various NPP youth wings in the 16 Regions and 275 Constituencies participated in this initiative, especially Oti Regional youth wing.

4. *PROJECT 5000* also did the magic, it was something which was geared to train or mentor Tesconians on leadership. This was a fresh initiative he introduced to groom Tesconians on various campus via zoom (digital).

5. Last but not least, he has been one person who has always availed himself to attend to every needs of Tesconians and that is very remarkable.
Mr. Eric Ofosu Asonade and his deputies try to always attend TESCON programs and all the Regional Youth Wing & TESCON conferences organised by the Regional Youth Organizers with the Support from the National Youth Organizer Salam Mustapha.

As a former Volta/Oti Regional TESCON Coordinator (2018-2022), having worked closing with Mr. Eric Ofosu Asonade when he was the Ashanti Regional TESCON Coordinator (2018 - 2022), Mr. Charles Opoku when he was the Eastern Regional TESCON Coordinator (2018 - 2022), Mr. Ayaaba Bawumia when he was the Northern Regional TESCON Coordinator (2018 - 2022) and Miss Josephine Opoku Cooke when she was the TESCON President for GTUC (Accra); I wasn't much surprised with this splendid output they have exhibited within this first year. They were very hard-working, committed and dedicated to any assignments assigned to them during our working days.
Salam Mustapha has really made the right choice of appointing these hardworking persons.

In conclusion, this commendation shouldn't create any complacency but rather motivate them to do more for the 3 years ahead of them.

*NKWANTA NORTH CONSTITUENCY IN FOCUS...... (OTI REGION).*

In each election, thousands of persons could potentially stand for the election, but it would be impossible for all members of a political party contest elections in the name of the party,
hence it demands we select, nominate, elect, appoint or have an acclamation for one person to represent the party.

My research for now indicates to me that, three (3) NPP members have expressed interest to contest the upcoming 2023 NPP parliamentary primaries in the Nkwanta North Constituency.
These three (3) persons are:-
1. *Lawyer Isaac Borrido*
Lawyer Isaac Borrido hails from Tinjase a town in the Nkwanta North District where the current NDC Member of Parliament Hon. John Oti Bless comes from.
He is a Lawyer by profession and works at the Naa Gbewaa Chambers in Tamale, Northern Region.

2. *Benjamin Munyum Nador*
Ben Nador as he is popularly known is the immediate past NPP 2020 parliamentary candidate for Nkwanta North Constituency.
He was formerly working with the Ghana Telecom and hails from Damanko in the Nkwanta North District.

3. *Hon. Joseph Kwaku Nayan*
Hon. Nayan is the past two-terms member of Parliament for the Nkwanta North Constituency (2005 - 2009) and (2009 - 2013),
He is currently the deputy CEO Minerals Commission and the CEO of Nayan's Villa, a Guest House and Restaurant located at Kpassa the capital of the Nkwanta North District.
Hon. Nayan hails from Damanko in the Nkwanta North District.

It's my fervent prayer and hope that the delegates elect a winnable candidate for the NPP to enable the NPP sn**ch the Parliamentary seat from the NDC come 2024 General Elections.

*MY CONDOLENCES TO TESCON (KRACHI NURSING AND MIDWIFERY TRAINING COLLEGE)*

I was duly informed this morning by the NPP OTI Regional Youth Organizer Hon. Prince Amanor about the demise of Princess Afua Ohenewaa,the TESCON Treasurer for Krachi Nursing and Midwifery training college through a Motor Accident.

Ohenewaa was a very hardworking, dedicated and committed TESCON member during my tenure as a Coordinator,
No wonder she was voted for massively, to be become TESCON Treasurer.

My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, TESCON-KNMTC, Krachi West Youth Wing, Buem Constituency where she hails from and the Oti Regional Youth Wing.

I will avail myself for the planning and any other arrangements leading to her final Funeral rite.

This memorable Conference was fortunate to have the former National TESCON Coordinator Hon. Samuel Annobil Baidoo aka SNOW as the Guest Speaker
and was patronized by lots of personalities who were vested in students politics.

Former OTI Regional TESCON Coordinator.

The OTI Regional Youth Wing on Tuesday 2nd August, 2022 released a list of appointees to assist the youth wing in discharging its duties.

I wish to use this medium to extend a gargantuan congratulations to all the appointees, I wish them well in their new role especially the new OTI Regional TESCON Coordinator Honorable Solomon Kakiba.

I also want to use this medium to thank my Political Godfather King David Nkanbonam for giving me the opportunity to serve as the deputy Volta Regional TESCON Coordinator 2014-2018,
Volta Regional TESCON Coordinator 2018-2019 and ended my tenure as the OTI Regional TESCON Coordinator 2019-2022.
King David Nkanbonam, Am grateful for the confidence you reposed in me.

I would like to again express my gratitude to the OTI Regional Youth Organizer Prince Amanor for seeking to reappoint me to serve in that same capacity as the OTI Regional TESCON Coordinator
but I declined due to some personal reasons.

And finally to all the tesconites in the various institutions in OTI Region,
Jasikan College of Education, Dambai College of Education and Krachi Nurses and Midwifery college for the support they gave me during my tenure especially the various TESCON Patrons, TESCON Presidents including the TESCON Executives.
If during discharging my duties I offended or stepped on anyone's toes I am sorry.
To err is human and to forgive is divine.

✅ Progress of NPP OTI Region, My Concern.

* CAN DO THE JOB.!🇳🇱*

Today is a great day and great day is today. I have a short message for our King Makers as the various Regional aspirants prepare to pick nomination forms from today Sunday 15th May, 2022 to contest for the upcoming Regional Elections.

I want to assure all the delegates and patriots that, King David Nkanbonam has duly perused through the NPP party constitution and weighed himself thoroughly based on the calls from the grassroots.
He is fortified that, he qualifies to man the party in the Region as the *OTI REGIONAL SECRETARY.*

Article 9 (11) and (12) of the NPP party constitution states clearly the duties, responsibilities and roles of a Regional Secretary :-

Article 9
(11) a. Keeping proper records of the party.

b. Carrying out the decisions of the Regional Executive Committee.

c. Supervising and coordinating the operations of the Constituency offices within the Region.

(12) The Regional Secretary shall report administrative matters to the Regional Chairperson.

These responsibilities and many other innovations, ideas and creativity he is bringing on board .

King has accessed himself and believed *HE CAN DO THE JOB* So verily I announce onto you, KING will pick up a form to contest for the Regional Secretaryship Position.

On Wednesday 6th & Thursday 7th April, 2022,
OTI Region TESCON delegates joined the National TESCON Orientation and Training Conference at Pentecost Convention center, Millennium City, Kasoa (Central Region).

The Training and Orientation sessions witnessed a host of resource persons who spoke on various sensitive topics which improved on the knowledge of the tesconites.
On Thursday His Excellency the Vice President Dr. Bawumia crowned it with
*BAWUMIA SPEAKS ON THE ECONOMY.*

On behalf of the OTI Region TESCON,
I wish to commend the National Youth Wing led by Commander General Lawyer Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B) for organizing this great event.

Yesterday 27th November 2021,
I joined the family and friends of Mavis Anane (now Mrs. Dankwa) to witness her Holy Matrimony (marriage ceremony) which took place at Ashongman Estate (Accra).

Mavis Anane (now Mrs. Dankwa) is the daughter of the late Chairman Abdulai (Obiaa s3 3y3)
Chairman Abdulai was a two term former NPP Constituency Chairman for the Nkwanta South Constituency in the OTI Region 2005 - 2014.

Mavis Anane served as the TESCON President for St. Theresa's college of education (Teresco) between 2017 - 2018 and I worked with her as the deputy Volta Regional TESCON Coordinator.

May God bless her new home.

*INCOMING OTI REGIONAL SECRETARY CELEBRATES HIS BIRTHDAY ; HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, KING DAVID NKANBONAM.*

Others learn how to lead, but I believe this man was born *A LEADER.*

After successfully serving as the TESCON President for St. Francis College of Education (FRANCO),

He was appointed as the deputy Volta Regional Youth Organizer in 2014 and later acted as the Volta Regional Youth Organizer in 2017.

King David Nkanbonam was voted to be the Volta Regional Youth Organizer 2018 congress at Hohoe.

In 2019, OTI Region was carved out of the Volta Region,
And again he was maintained as the OTI Regional Youth Organizer because of his exploits when he was the Volta Regional Youth Organizer.

On this special day, He celebrates his birthday.

Regional TESCON coordinator.

On Saturday 9th October, 2021,
I joined the National TESCON Coordinator Mr. Samuel Annobil Baidoo aka (Snow) to mourn his late father Mr. V.K.B.B Baidoo.

The final funeral rite of the late Mr. V.K.B.B Baidoo took place at Winneba in the Cental Region.

May his soul rest in Perfect Peace and May God grant him eternal rest.

Some dignitaries who joined us pay our last respect to the late Mr. V.K.B.B Baidoo were the NPP National Youth Organiser Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), Director of Operations - Office of the Vice President Salam Mustapha, C.E.O YEA Lawyer Justin Kodua Frimpong,
the two deputy NPP National youth organizers Perpetual Lomoki and Joseph Kwayaja, deputy National TESCON Coordinator Salahu-Deen Musah, deputy administrator National Youth Wing Daniel Nkansah Anto (DNA), the aide to the National Women's Organizer Mimi Duah, former deputy Ambassador to China Dr. Charles Dwamena (Dr. China), former CPP presidential candidate Mr. Ivon Greenstreet, CPP functionaries, Regional TESCON Coordinators and a host of others.

Miss Priscilla Akakpo is a former TESCON President for Holy Spirit (Ho) College of Education (2019 - 2020), the First ever female TESCON President of a mixed school in the Volta Region and done with her national service this year 2021.

Mr. Godson Wotordzor is also a former TESCON Vice President for Keta Nurses and Midwifery college (2015 - 2016).

I worked with you Mr. Godson Wotordzor when I was the deputy Volta Regional TESCON Coordinator (2014 - 2018),

And also worked with you Miss. Priscilla Akakpo when I was the Volta Regional TESCON Coordinator (2018 - 2019),
I have a firm conviction that you guys will deliver.

Brother Isaac Nkrumah of Trinity Congregation (Ahamansu) is the Guild Mover of this Week as we focus our lens on Bodada District.

Hailing from Mankessim (Ekumfi Abram) in the Central Region of Ghana. Born on 2nd May and is single.

Isaac started his Education at the King Jesus Educational Complex (Accra) and completed LaBone Senior High School, then to Takoradi Polytechnic where he obtained an HND in Accounting, he continued to the University of Cape Coast (UCC) where he obtained a Bachelors Degree in Education from 2016-2019.

Isaac in his walk with God held several leadership portfolios including; The Bodada District Protocol Officer, Member of the Ahamansu Trinity Congregation Welfare Committee, Branch Guild Youth and Students Week Celebration Committee Member.
Isaac is currently the Bodada District Financial Secretary.

He stands by the Bible quote "John 3:16" and loves the Presbyterian Hymn numbered 276.

Isaac is a hard-working and a dedicated Guilder. For the love of God and the Guild, he gives his motorcycle to the District YPG President for visitation to various locals, he attends District Session Meetings on behalf of the District YPG whenever the needs arises.
He is like the organizer of his Congregation, he mobilises the members for various activities in the church. He always avails himself when called upon hence the church counts on him to play soo many roles such as Bible reading, leading prayers and Bible studies, a liturgist, Preaching etc...

His expectations is for the Guild and the Church to win more souls for the Church and for Guilders to be nurtured to become Pastors, Prophets, Evangelists, Ministers and many more.
