"OUR GOD IS KIND AND COMPASSIONATE"
Our God responds to do something. So, to recap, "compassionate" is a feeling word. God is like a father, or even a mother, and we're like his children. And "gracious" is an action word. It also means, like a parent, God comes to the rescue when His kids need help
The scripture explains God being kind and compassionate in Colossians 3:12-13. Having compassionate hearts, kindness etc. bearing with one another and forgiving each other. God shows compassion by giving us grace - undeserved favour. He passes by the transgressions of His people because He delights in mercy. He is so full of pity that He delays to condemn us in our guilt, but looks with loving concern upon us to see how He can turn away his wrath and restore us to favour as his children.
*While God is never the cause of our suffering, God is always moved to join us in our hurt and be part of our healing if we are open to that. No matter the source of our suffering. I believe God always responds with love and compassion.
*He has been compassionate by giving us rains and fruitful season etc.- Acts 14:17.
*We need to be compassionate and love to bear the fruit of the spirit, which is love, kindness, patience, gentleness, etc. - Galatians 5:22-23.

TWO DISTINCT LEADERSHIP STYLES
Leadership styles exhibited by Mother Hen and Mother Duck.

The Mother hen leads from the back, while the Duck leads from the front.

The fact that the mother hen stays behind the chicks while the duck goes ahead of them highlights two different leadership styles: leading from behind and leading from the front.

Leading from behind, as demonstrated by the mother hen, is a leadership style that emphasizes support and empowerment. This style involves staying back to provide guidance and encouragement to followers, allowing them to take the lead and make decisions. It requires a high level of trust in the followers' abilities and a willingness to let them take the lead. This leadership style is effective in situations where followers have a high level of competence and need minimal direction.

Leading from the front, as demonstrated by the duck, is a leadership style that emphasizes direction and control. This style involves taking the lead and setting the direction for followers to follow. It requires a strong sense of vision and a clear understanding of the path forward. This leadership style is effective in situations where followers need more direction and guidance to achieve their goals.

Both leadership styles have their advantages and disadvantages, and neither is inherently better than the other. The choice of leadership style depends on the situation and the needs of the followers. In the case of the mother hen and the duck, their leadership styles are suited to the different needs of their offspring. The mother hen's leadership from-behind style is effective in guiding her chicks through familiar environments, while the duck's leadership from the front style is effective in guiding her ducklings through unfamiliar environments.

Both have distinctive characteristics and applications.....think deep and pick one, but lead right whichever one you pick.
